Hi Henry, great to see as always. The gearbox as a whole looked great, I wouldn't strip it down either, not that I could refurb it anyway. Great to see the oil come out clean. Look forward to more as the car progresses.
Yeah doesn’t look like that gearbox ever went far! I think engine mounts wearing unevenly is normal due to one suffering more from the torque of the engine always spinning in the same direction.
I'd understand the corrosion would more likely happen on the near side, due to puddles from the gutters over long periods of time. Then again nothing surprises me with positions of rot found on 7's.
@@ChrisFEJackson Ah I was talking about the actual rubber engine mount bits, could be the cause of Henry’s original ones being differently worn. Or not, I’m not sure how universal a problem it is!
Nice work Henry. Keep-on, keeping-on going. Take care. Chris Robinson.
Thanks, will do!

Thanks Chris, I expect to see it in the engine bay next Sunday
@@HenrysGarage Look forward to that then :)
Another great video can't wait to see it in the car 👍👍
Thanks Andy, I reckon it will be in the car next weekend

Ok, that’s good info for adding the engine mounts
