      @@redpanda5685 I don't know much about it but I read online that they changed the rules to apply points to a foot that comes close to the head without the need of touch for "the safety of the athletes". I'm ok with all those rules, even toching heads being a point makes the sport safer, more participants etc. But I really don't get the stuff with the Hogo (bodyarmor) scoring. I mean once I see a clean powerful shot being fired and hit and it scores nothing, and all of a sudden I see another that just brushes the Hogo and it scores? Please someone explain! Thanks!

    • @phantomgg7790
      @phantomgg7790 3 года назад +3

      It's the issue with judges in any combat sport, the quality of the scoring will be inconsistent, I was a heavy practioner for 10 years and then quit competitions altogether (now a 20 year practicioner) Don't miss the competition scene at all. IT's a big reason why UFCS inventor was so heavily against judges in the first time he held it. Judges are biased, even when they try not to be.

    • @kristijanmilicevic9596
      @kristijanmilicevic9596 3 года назад +1

      @@phantomgg7790 Wait....they're still judging when it's a point?! I thought the electronic Hogos were thrown in to eliminate that. Now it makes sense why it's so confusing. I get it, I did ITF for 4,5 years but it's the same....meaning that Taekwondo is so much more fun to practice than to compete....less confusing and frustrating.
