Brilliant and poignant probing of Richard Ford by Marcia Franklin. Richard Fords teasing is also illuminating. Great to listen to such a complex interview. A fantastic writer with the depth of an Idaho winter. Now a fan of Idaho Public TV!

A thoughtful insight into American race relations. I just wonder if he ever thought the ‘bad actors’ would find such a leader, who didn’t come from the. South but from a privileged New York background.

I'm guessing a "frank conversation" means you don't need to put on pants for an interview!

LMAO!! I enjoy Richard Ford’s writing very much. But in this interview he’s dressed like he just came in from mowing his lawn...

Reading "Lay of the land" , the language is like eating ice-cream with a spoon.

Why this attitude against killing a mockingbird? Didn't quite get that.
