It'd be cool to see this recreated (the 500' radar gun...) with Doug's YXZ, the Ghoul, Beastmode, and 2JP! That sure would paint a picture of the crazy progress of this channel since 2017! Something tells me they'd trap a bit more than 62 mph :)

I wish Can Am and Polaris would follow Yamaha and make their Sxs's Manual with paddle shifters..going through CVT belts is beyond old! And I have watched a friend go through so many that it stopped me from getting a Can Am or Polaris and Choosing Yamaha YXZ ,Just still not too keen on the width and looks of the YXZ,Maybe it'll grow on me..who knows
I put 3/4 and 4/4 offset rims on mine and it took the width out to 67-1/4 inches wide! That with the stiff sidewall moto hammer tires was a real gam changer! handles and corners so much better! looks way better also!

I just bought one of these myself and it's nice to hear it wasn't a waste of cash (I'm trying to get my power pumped up in the middle/top RPMS for pulling nasty hills in second gear since Tube works literally laughed at me when I requested a %15-20 lower second gear to better compliment my gear kit 1st gear) Did you guys read any of the reports on YXZTalk and forum about these spacers leaking on certain people? Alba seem to validate the concern and said they were gonna start sending o-rings with the kit that were OEM quality instead of the other vendor they were using at the time (guess the Yamaha ones were a softer Duro) and felt that should solve the issue? I'm gonna use o-ring assembly grease on mine I think to help seal everything up but I wanted to know your/Doug's thoughts on it.
Yeah we were aware of that, my guess is that it may be partially caused by people not getting the cover & spacer fully seated / tightened during install. With that style screw and how tough some are to get at, it's easy to say "good enough" when some may not be completely tight.

actually its been found that there is enough fuel within the map for the spacer....your not changing how much air, just velocity....nothing was opened up or changed.
I added the spacer and my Bazzaz afn autotune instantly wanted to ad more fuel because the 02 sensor reading lean .. .. spacer makes room for more air. more air ..it needs more fuel ..

Thats all up to you brother! I don't really keep track of YXZ prices but that doesn't seem crazy for OTD. But its certainly nice getting something fresh and new.
If you call Alba and talk to them they will often times hook you up a bit - at least Garret and Diego did for me when I was pondering the lighter flywheel (right before SXSBLOG did their review), their YXZ matched gauges, and their intake spacer (once again right before SXSBLOG did their review -LOL).
Classic brake squeal man, my YXZ has been pretty good but it still comes and goes if I'm using the brakes lightly. You can try pulling them apart and scuffing the rotors / pads. Being harder on it helps... So will new pads.
Great channel guys but my only complaint is where are the riding videos? I have not seen any new ones with Nick and his canned ham. And where's part 2 of Baja? You guys don't need a life outside of here. Get it done already haha

Doug whats your thoughts on the Yamaha compared to polaris after the spring swap ? Seems the Yamaha holds its own after a few mods.
The springs helped significantly but it still isn't as good as an XP1k for ride quality. Maybe with a good re-valve job it would be there?

yes I believe Alba has a tune specific for that. We used the FTECU Graves tune.
