In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all!
One man's trash is another man's gold. Good job Mike. Texas proud.
Greetings from London!
Another outstanding haul!
Respect to all workers!
Bus drivers!
Shop workers!
Mailmen!
Checkout girls!
Librarians!
Farmers!
SCAVENGERS!!
They provide us all with a service that makes our lives that much easier and take a lot of abuse from certain members of society - I've seen far too many Karen videos! Treat everyone with respect and thank them for their service.
Anyway, rant over...
Alright! Alright! Alright! 👊👊👊 🇬🇧🇺🇸
My second video and I’m relaxed, it’s 8:25, and I’ve been sick with pneumonia, and lung infections for the past two weeks. Your voice believe it or not relaxes me. Straight older man who’s been sick and unable to sleep. I’m subscribing now.
Those circuit boards are going in 12 pound bundles on ebay for $100.00. Great find
I have no idea why this popped up on my suggested,,,, and for some reason I watched the whole thing lol
me too... I don't know why but it's cool...
Me too!
Just found this guy, I do this stuff all the time and get great stuff. You would be amazed at what people throw away. Got myself a Macbook pro core i7 from 2013 couple months back. I look forward to more great content from this Mike the scavenger!
"The stuff we throw away" right. It should be illegal to landfill things that have a recyclable use.
Its been a throw away world for a longtime now! An no one wants to be responsible for it, and this on a mess scale on a daily basis! Crazy 😂
And most of the people throwing stuff away like this complain about global warming
@@leonardaugust9823 Haa "who's the Daddy"! Carefull tho dude the truth can be real cruel.. may chek it awt tho still 😂😎
Where are these countries where there are these precious things that are a wealth if I lived in this country, I would recycle and develop these things, but I would also return a lot of inventions that I could benefit the audience.
i agree 100% and it should be banned to throw away batteries in the regular trash, they should be destroyed professionally..
Those old PDAs do sell pretty good on eBay. The more complete. The more $. The new DVD drives should sell easily at your yard sale. $5 each, and sell, sell.
"What is that...I don't know, but let's get it!" Needs to be on a shirt
Morning seems like a great time to get some stuff mike, stay safe🏴
Im about to sleep but saw this on motif so GOTTA BE STRONG against sleepiness
It's good to see that someone at some of these businesses are leaving some scrap out of the dumpsters for scrappers to get. Now if only more of them did that.
You hit the mother lode with this stuff Mike .....more power to you.
I never knew this much of that kind of stuff got thrown in the dumpsters, I always thought of just nasty trash, but dang, some of them dumpsters really pay off for you
Didn't you know?
you have been hitting the mother load mike hope you keep geting more like this one and the collectors stuff
Awesome! Just what I needed on Sunday morning.
Sundays not boring anymore. Thank you
Fantastic collection of found circuit boards! 💲💲💲💲💲💲💲
My favorite .. "It's like an I don't know, lets git it"
Great way to start the morning.
Yes biblical commentary books are good sellers. Like any books, Sets sell the best. individual ones are great for those that loose a book from their set and want to replace it. $5-$15 ea. But the content has the most value. Literally...it changed my life. People read the bible and don't always understand it. The commentary books like you found are people that break it down so it's easier to understand. Thanks for another great haul Bro. Love the videos.
About those Optical drives...there's one for BluRay. That should be at least 20 bucks if it works. Great finds as usual. Stay safe! Greetings from Chile, Mike! Un abrazo!
perfect timing! morning Mike and the rest of you scavengers
Sounds like mike had a beer or something after he got home, aint nuthin wrong with dat!
@@frannyescue293 only reason i go home franny! nothing wrong with that for sure! cheers
What a fantastic find with all those e-boards I would like to come across a find like that. All those heat sinks are extruded aluminum but more importantly are the chips that they cooled especially if they were gold corned bga chips.
Instead of dumpster diving it should be called dumpster mining! LOL
Love your friggin enthusiasm getting at it !!
use that funny-looking device and make you a crane on the back of your truck
😂😂
Mike is puttin’ some work in!
If you know any metal detectorists, one would probably love that little shovel-thingy.
Gold Gold Gold!!!
Yes for sure Gold Refining in that lot!!!
That's good money there!!!
Those was the heat exchanger out of a package roof top unit lol
Wholly cow the Edoardo. Look for a computer recycle place and they will buy the boards by weight. We have one here in NJ. Wish I came across that dumpster. Whooo hooo God Bless
Always always look everything up on ebay...that electronic stuff sells
That dumpster full of boards was awesome. I'm salivating like hungry dog.
The piece you found around 3:20 would look good hanging on the wall of your shop. That things cool looking!
That's part of a rowing machine it looks like.
HI Mike great video great great scores all of the time bro and great sale items to .
I'm super jelly!!! Nice, brah!!
E-scrap guys like me would love to get a find like that!
I don’t understand why I don’t see new videos. You have a real talent. The sky is the limit
That pen is for signing them giant Publisher's Clearing House checks.
That cookie jar looks like a earn, some one been in that , ashes, ,loll, nice , kool y’all, thanks BigAl California.
Hey Mike some of those cd drives are bluray drives and they worth some money, here in the UK they go for £30-£50 used. Keep up the good work.
Mike you were at the dumpster at the right time
Total jackpot my friend.. Motherloads of boards.. Your fan here from Manila Philippines.. Stay safe my friend 😇😇
That thing you called the shoe thing is actually a like a tile cutter
What I thought
:-)
Gold recovery motherboards, well done Mike.
Hi Mike, the thing you thought was for measuring feet was actually a tile cutter.
Good new year so far. Mike🤙🏻
The sti cover is for a fire alarm. I used to work in nursing home. Its to prevent residents from pulling the alarm.
A Mother Load of E-Boards - wow and wow again - You are sooooooooooooooooooo Lucky indeed - well done You - we are very Happy for You - some Money here for sure !!!! Lots of Wire ! Today it was an Electrical/Electronic Dumpster Diving Adventure ! As the old Saying said : Happy Wife is Happy Life - ha ! Keep Safe and many, many Cheers from all of us here in Australia - well done again !!!!
It's fun to watch
You should invest in a grabber like seniors use to get things off high shelves. They also come with a magnet on the tip.
Enjoyed your video 😎. God bless you and be safe 😊
That shovel is an edger and also is used for opening a small deep channel in the dirt to lay wires thru like for a lawn lighting system the other piece was a tile cutter
I think someone who worked at a nearby place hit a lick, and the plan was to put em in the dumpster and come back for em later lol..
Great score homie
I'd be really curious how much all those circuit boards are worth, would love to see that!
I'd like to have Mike take us to the electronics man with him. I'm interested in knowing if he scraps the used items or weather they are fixable? Just curious! So much
e-waist in this country!
Same here.
Depends on what they are. If they are parts for equipment that's still very much in use could be worth quite a bit. If not than probably ewaste. Looks like some sort of specialty system power supplies
few grand.
That sti stopper cover is to deter people from touching whatevr is behind it. I install them all the time.
Man. You always find some really good shit. Alot of resaleable stuff.
You know it's really crazy how you just stumble across those jackpot dumpsters especially the one with all that computer scrap the yard I go to pays a fortune for that kinda stuff.
That device opens lifts doors lol 😁
Sunday morning trash just what i needed hello mike
Great video. The printers have gold in them. You are subbed!! Really great find!!!!!
love he talks about scrap the whole time passes cans
This was a fantastic video.
Those Blue things on them boards are likely to be Aluminium Mike... Nice haul.. Be safe out there
NO one would take your pen! LOL
Now that was some haul!!! You're gonna need a bigger truck LOL. I also enjoy finding a good pick, the theme of my channel is reclaim, repair, reuse & recycle.
As things are getting crazier more & more people are turning to the Bible. The only true source of how & why we are experiencing current events.
Stay safe, Joe Z
Also loving the socks ❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌👌🤣🤣
No more lights tonight mike 😭 I think you got them all 👌✌️👍
The tracking device is a memory card for the little store displays. Like try the new tide pods. The hang on the shelves. And play video over and over
Hi in Uzbekistan
Pretty cool stuff Mike
your singing all the time means one thing ...you love scrapping ...
that magnum tool is a tile cutter for ceramic, and porcelain floor tile. i have a similar one out in my work trailer.
I always grab those printers (personal or commercial) and throw them in the shred pile.
Holy CRAP!!! You just hit a gold mine with all those boards/cards! Lots of stuff to recycle and if there is gold on those boards...reclaim! Would probably be worth your while.
looked like there was something in between the pages of one of those bible books maybe some church offerings
The blue heat sinks would sell quick on ebay bro! And recycle the rest for the silicone chips places buy in old motherboards to reuse
Good Job Mikey STAY SAFE
The Advantra components looks like cellular modems, but hard to tell without a closer look.
Wowo good things come to them who wait, fantastic
Score, medium to low grade boards :) great find.
Your mad for wires, 😂 i got me a Laptop last nite.. its deffo adictive man 😎
The thing you were talking about shoes looks like a tile cutter.
Lots and lots of sticks ❤️❤️❤️👍👍
I want that shovel please!!!!!!! And the white jar with lid that looks like a urn a very big one but def the shovel
I believe the funny looking thing @ Around 3:10 to be the mechanism of an old elevator door. you know , what makes it open and close. this day they work with belts .
That funny looking device looks like a roller shutter door opening mechanism
Fire alarm door is awesome to put over a thermostat or something neat
It is truly amazing what people will just pitch these days...
Those computer peices all have GOLD connections. .
We have all them secolarm locks on the security doors on the close!. You have to buzz up to a house and they can let you on from the house! the council use them for security doors so junkies can't use the closey to bang up here lol
Keep going brother mike👍
5:22 those have real-time clock batteries on em, with a heatsink. Could be a CPU of some sort. That's money right there Mike. Actually, those might be some sort of detector. Do they have a radioactive warning label on em?
Those cards are cellular cards used in timing devices monitoring and the like.. A company I do special projects with along with the NBA we purchased a lot of those to use in games for shot clock timing and score keeping.. They are not expensive but the technology outpaced what we were able to get and we abandoned the cellular for another technology..
When you started talking about shoes with that metal "thing", that "thing" is a tile cutter.
Mike, some of those disk drives you yoinked out were Blue Ray Drive players, some of those go for 100 a pop depending on the lasers inside (can burn game console games)
That Magnum 380 is a tile cutter
Dottie done you good bless her 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
I know this is an older video but I recognize that Marshall university shirt you have on! I’m in West Virginia ❤
