I never appreciated Hall and Oates during my High School Days. They were on the radio all the time and it was to me just background noise. Today, however, thanks to Daryl's house and seeing him perform the songs raw with other guests, I am blown away at just how good the music was and still is if not BETTER NOW. I am so thankful that I grew up with the music of the 70s and 80s. There are good songs now every once and awhile but not like there were during these creative times. Now, it seems to just be a formula like out of Nashville. When listening to the original recording, I have yet to hear the cool riffs. It's almost as if Nile Rogers was on the original album. That's just how cool the guitar riff is on that album. Anybody catching my drift?
Old people who go to these concerts usually only know a handful of songs by the artist and they only show any enthusiasm for those 5 songs. The rest of the concert they just sit there. Baby boomers. I went to a KISS concert and the same thing. Crowd only showed any interest during I Was Made for Loving You and I Want to Rock N Roll All Nite. The rest of the songs it was like they had never heard them. I knew every damn song. Same thing for this concert. I am from the generation where you would hang off every lyric of every song and not spend $150 going to a concert just because you like 5 songs you heard on Gold FM by that band. People are lazy
Realmente el grupo una leyenda, el tema espectacular. Pero el acople en varias oportunidades ...mal, espero que no sea del sonido original sino el sonidista que se dedique a otra cosa. Saludos
Daryl looks very good in this video, but he looks almost like a different person, compared to when he did the first two versions of this; early eighties, and mid to late eighties. My favorite version is the 1985 Apollo Theater concert. I wonder if when he moved to upstate New York, if that changed him? Because I notice that when he was fresh out of Philidephia, he definitely looked different than when he moved to the country in New York.
Darryl's voice has stood the test of time. Simply amazing version of this classic song !! 👌👌👌👍👍👍
UNBELIEVABLE ! THEY LOOK AND SOUND SO FRICKIN GOOD! These guys r legendary icons, for real.

Amazing!
I hope I look as good as Daryl when I'm his age. He was born in 1946 which makes him 66. Hard to believe. He's still hot in my book.
świetny motyw gitary

Sound guy better not quit his day job!
Jeez, what's with all the mic feedback?! Great song though.
cannot see why Daryl let the lead guitarist Paul Pesco go - what a mistake
Can someone please tell me what's wrong with that dead a## crowd? No energy whatsoever & unresponsive. I've seen more rowdy audiences in church.
jssangel416. I agree jss. This is a great performance and the crowd looks like a bunch of zombies

The key board operator looks like Gary Busey from the side profile.

Deaf soundman.
