Pretty amazing! One week you are in Pacific Northwest, basically a rainforest, the next week you are in a desert with hardly any trees. Nature is amazing!
Looks like the place to go when you have had enough of the chilly weather in Washington. Thanks Catherine for showing us the Golden Canyon and Badwater area.
Possibly the best weather ever right now, during Thanksgiving week, to be in the Mojave Desert. I just drove from Vegas back home to LA, through the back roads via Pahrump, Tecopah, and Shoshoneh, to Baker, and I was just left in admiration to see such breathtaking panoramas of Death Valley and the surrounding areas!
Hello 👋 Catherine, sincere thanks for sharing this informative and entertaining video. Your videos are always Oscar winning. Please take good care of yourself. Stay safe and healthy out there. I look forward to your next award winning travel adventure. 🤗 👋
Interesting scenery. I love forests, mountains and oceans - yet deserts have a special beauty. I enjoy the scenery and solitude in desert areas and love driving around the four corners region.
I was recently in Death Valley camping at Furnace Creek for a few days on my last motorcycle camping trip that lasted 16 days, and it was really cool to see some of it again through your lenses. I hiked Golden Canyon, drove the artist loop, and hiked out on the salt flat while i was there. I was in awe of what i saw every mile I drove and every step I took. This was my first but not my last visit. I came home and bought an Astro van, and I'm getting it ready to hit the road to AZ for the winter. I'd like to see Death Valley in the spring to catch the bloom, but at this point, I don’t even know where I'll be by then. This is my first winter that I'm chasing the sun, and like my last adventure, I'm making it up as I go. So, thanks for the great video it reminded me so much of my own trip to Death Valley.
This was eye-opening for me. Did not know the vast size of Death Valley N.P. and certainly was not aware of the range of landscapes. Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing.
We need a HIKING MAN annual gathering to out rival the burning a little man !!!! Can you please work on getting my dream started !!!!???? Oh , the stories to be told !!!!
Good Morning and waking up happy with fresh brewed pour over '☕' & taking in the ALL of everything you've presented on this 🌞 day. Thank you Cat. 💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫
Im an East Coaster who thinks of herself as being quite fluent in how to enjoy the great outdoors. Ive seen some truly beautiful places, but Ive not explored western US sites. Some of the places you take us are just gorgeous and others are almost unearthly, like in this video. Thank you for continuing to share so much of what the western US has to offer. Ours is truly an awesome landscape.
Love your videos because you describe the locations. Most youtubers don't tell us the locations. They want to keep locations a secret, which sucks for us.
Just wonderful . . . Nice to see the park opening up from the rain event and how you shared Darwin falls trail. I never visited that trail and will do the next time I visit, thanks to you! thank you for sharing my Sunday morning cup of coffee with me.
Very nice. I had no idea that a place like Darwin Falls existed in Daeth Valley. I thought it was all barren dunes, salt flats, and the Racetrack Playa. Interesting to see that it's more than that. Thanks for taking me along, Catherine.
Another lovely video. The sand dune images are spectacular. We spent a wonderful Christmas in Death Valley at Panamint Springs. Darwin Falls is so special that it deserves many repeat visits. It is never the same. Thanks for sharing another adventure.
I have never been to Death Valley, but you have made it look so interesting, I’m going to have to try it out…in November of the year. 😊. It would be a great way to warm up before the cold of winter. Thank you for sharing the history of the area, and thank you for filming the signs you see along the way. I am a sign reader. ☺️. I love being able to pause the video and even enlarge it so I can read the interesting info these signs share. You are one of the few people who carefully show these signs so that we can actually read them. Thank you so much for that. 🙏💗
Thanks for sharing Cat! Another beautiful video. Thanks to you, we get to see the beauty of an area that can be harsh and rugged. Wonderful cinematography!
Watching you traipse up Golden Canyon brought back memories of my sojourns in that same area. The views up canyon and to either side are mystical enough but it’s hard to convey the intricate patterns of the veins in the rocky canyon walls without actually being there.
Awesome place Catherine 🙂, I'm more of a forest guy, love when you are in the mountains, you know lots of trees, greenery, lots of water! But I do appreciate that you show us your adventures!!!! I do have one question for you,,,,, what is your favorite place that you can't get enough of? Bye pretty lady!!!
That water kettle is enjoying daily use :) Suggest you run hot water over your filter 1st before adding fresh grounds to remove the ‘paper taste’, makes a big difference. Also, look up “bloom” process of brewing a cup of coffee, another important step you might be skipping. Also, on another topic, you can turn off the red and green on back up camera app for when your on the road, not backing up. Just love your channel, a Sunday tradition.
Cat... Hi sweetheart. This is to help you recoup some of the cost of your steak dinner in Death Valley. I about freaked out when I saw the prices on that menu. Beautiful music selection for this video. I really enjoyed the piano pieces. Be safe and have fun. Have a great week babe. Love you. 🌹 Randy. 🎼
Breathtaking Death Valley with all its stillness & beauty. Loved Darwin Falls, the sunrises & sunsets and the unique shadows appearing on the rust colored dunes. One of my new favorites. Thanks, Cat 👍🏻🙋🏼♀️😱
Thank you so much for a special your! I'll try togo there in a cool month too. Love your choice of music background. See you next time, from Central Oklahoma
Catherine... Good morning beautiful. So awesome. Such a great setting for a couple of paintings. I love Death Valley. The colors are brilliant. And Badwater Basin is another of those spiritual places I spoke of. I always enjoy your annual trips there. I always enjoy your videos that start out with you making yourself a cup of coffee. Like you always say. Nectar of the gods. I always tell people don't even look at me until I've had my coffee. 😂 I'll be tuning Aggie up today. She's been in her new home for five days now. I had to let her adjust to the humidity level in here. As a heating and cooling guy keeping the proper humidity is second nature to me. Shouldn't take me much more than two or three hours and she'll be sounding like a perfect lady again. I can't tell you how good it feels to wake up in my new home. Actually, I've been pinching myself before I crawl out of bed just to make sure I'm not dreaming. Awesome job in catching that bobcat on video. How long did it hang around before it disappeared. Great video today sweetheart. I wish it was a little longer. But I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to see what you have to show us next. Be safe and well when you're traveling. See ya, bye. Love you. 💕 Randy. 🎹
Love DV! Our first time there last March. Stayed at Texas Springs, right above Furnace Creek. Perfect weather. You captured the scenery exceptionally well. Must be fun getting all those shots...to have an extra purpose on a trip, other than marvel at the amazing nature.Didn't look like the roads were ruined by the floods. How did you get that coyote shot?...he was posing...had some weirdness with his coat in that one spot. Anyway...thanks for the episode. Interested to see where you end up for winter...maybe home :o)
Love your videos girl! A great mix of good music quality videos and great info. Thanks for ALL you do for those of us that can't get out and go to the places we long to go to. I have been a backpacker since I was in Boy Scouts. I'm now 73 and my wife suffers from osteoporosis and has had 10 surgeries in the last 10 years...so your videos are the only way I can see my favorite places in the the Sierras that I so long to be. Thanks to you, I can visit those places I love the most. I have summited Mt. Whitney 3 times along with many backpacking trips to my favorite places on the planet. I still have the North Lake to South Lake loop on my " bucket list" only to put my hands on the John Muir Hut. I pray I will be able to actually do that in my lifetime. Again, thank you so much, for all you do out there. You REALLY do not know how much I alone appreciate all your dedication to your viewers to bring them such quality to your videos .And as for me alone, I can not thank you enough, for giving me a place to go in my mind that takes me back to an earlier time in my life and hopefully better times to come. Thank YOU for ALL you do Cat! Peace be with you!
Nice episode Cat. Looks like you had a good time. We are booked for early February for Furnace Creek. I know it will be cold, but your video is helping us to figure out what we want to do there.
This is like a love letter to Death Valley. Beautiful cinematography and so peaceful, thank you for sharing!
Pretty amazing! One week you are in Pacific Northwest, basically a rainforest, the next week you are in a desert with hardly any trees. Nature is amazing!
I’ve driven that route in one day, it’s something else seeing the extreme transformation.
Why leave California?
Ironic that to do so, one relies on the amazing fossil fuels.
@@JD-ir5fj Because there is a lot to see outside. The world is a playground for those willing to engage it.
Beautiful sunset at the end!! Great video- again. 😊❤ Thanks!
Catherine, You're so nice for sharing these beautiful places with us. thank you!
I love the rich colors.
Looks like the place to go when you have had enough of the chilly weather in Washington. Thanks Catherine for showing us the Golden Canyon and Badwater area.
I'm always impressed with your imagery...You have a good eye and the ability to share it. Thank You Catherine...!!!
I really liked this vlog! Such a lot of diverse beauty. I enjoyed your opening.
I love your videos. They bring me peace. Beautifully done. Thank you ❤
Thank you!
Beautiful sceneries. It's almost as if you can hear your pulse, given the serenity and all.

Yep, the winter months are prime time in DV. That place got mad water this summer! Enjoy!
Good afternoon from Godley Texas, thanks for taking us along. Stay safe and happy travels 😎
Thanks Catherine I'm Glad You Be My Friend

I love Death Valley! Had the chance to visit 3 years ago and can’t wait to go back. ❤️
Very nice. I had no idea that a place like Darwin Falls existed in Daeth Valley. I thought it was all barren dunes, salt flats, and the Racetrack Playa. Interesting to see that it's more than that.
Thanks for taking me along, Catherine.
I really liked the moon 🌙 shot over the mountains and the water fall was beautiful!
I would have to cowboy up to eat in that restaurant! Boots, Stetson, the whole package, lol! Glad you treated yourself Catherine! Beautiful place.
Awesome landscape there in Death Valley! Loved the décor of that Saloon! Way back West! Thank you for sharing Cat! 😊
Absolutely the most fab travelogues....and we see the animals still come to pose for a portrait.Your skills are stellar!! Thanks so much for sharing

Awe...thank you so much Randy! I did get the least expensive steak dinner. I appreciate it. :)
Fantastic opening shot with surprise hiker in foreground for scale! A+
I was wondering about the 1,000-year flood contributing standing water in the basin and you provided me a three-second example. Thanks!
Beautiful Canyon! Thank you for sharing.
Breathtaking Death Valley with all its stillness & beauty. Loved Darwin Falls, the sunrises & sunsets and the unique shadows appearing on the rust colored dunes. One of my new favorites. Thanks, Cat 👍🏻🙋🏼♀️😱

Love you. 💕 Randy. 🎹
Congratulations on being in your new home! The bobcat sunned itself for a bit then took off.
I've probably spent 4 months of my life camping in Death Valley. Fall is the best weather; spring is the most scenic.

I hope you carry mace with you. Your alone alot, and there's alot of creeps out there. Be safe, love the content.
Omg! First time I went to Vegas I took the trip to Rhyolite. Had a great time and took many pictures..
Great video Cat! Death Valley is on my bucket list. Hope to visit there someday. 🤠
Thank you Matt. I hope you go!
