I probably say this every time another episode gets uploaded but it really is so much appreciated to see more of Rory and more classic political satire on RUclips. We won't ever see these repeated on TV again or on sites like All4 or iPlayer for reasons I'm sure we're all aware of, you're doing us a great service here by bringing it back, and with the ads intact! 😊

'Princess Consort... Never be Queen'. Well, now we know better, don't we? It was fixed from the start.

If anyone has any other episodes it would be great to see them. I've been searching for years for the closing credits scene from an episode from either 1995 or 1996. It showed a montage of news footage and scenes from Tory party conferences. It was cut together to chart the rise and decline of John Major and his Government from his suprise election victory in 1992 up to 1996 and it was superbly done. There were intermittent shots of major throughout ranging from happy and rather smug at the beginning to extremely browned off at the end. They were inter cut with events like the ERM crisis and the rise of Tony Blair and New Labour. It was accompanied by a song that I've since discovered is called "singing the blues". It was recorded by both Hank Mitchell and Marty Robbins. The footage was cleverly cut to match the lyrics of the song. I don't know which version was used because I only ever saw this episode once when it was originally broadcast in 1996 and I've never been able to find it again. It was brilliant.

Queen: "According to the latest poll, 93% said they didn't want to see Camilla made Queen"
Charles: "I thought we'd sorted that out. She's going to be called Princess Consort"
Queen: "Sounds like something they make in Coventry...The government's concerned that if she's not to be Queen they'll have to pass a new law"...
    Quite!
