Becoming a Pro Beach Volleyball Player (before)

I was lucky enough to play professional beach volleyball for a while. Some unsolicited advice from a stranger: don’t worry about spending money to go to every qualifier you can. Focus more on developing your game to the point that better people want to play with you. Getting picked up by a pro is a better path than grinding out qualifiers, getting through in one or two, only to get smoked by Miles and Andy or Trevor and Theo in the first round. If you are good enough to help a seasoned guy win matches, they’ll find you. (It happened to me and most of the other household names on tour right now) Best of luck. -Ryan Doherty

I am from St. Louis area
Midwest doesn’t have any good doubles tournaments at the first place
And it’s so hard to find a player that wants to commit to sport same as you do

Dude you should look for sponsors or at least work as a sales rep to help with some of the expenses.

Partner with similar or above skill level. Beach pro volleyball is a tough sport to get ranking, prize and sponsorship. Damn, your skill set is mad! Enjoyed your CBVA vids. 🏐👊🏽🔥
