Poor sweetheart. Dehydrated, scared, confused and one heck of a headache! How noisy that area was too - no doubt adding to her stress levels. All the while protecting her precious "cargo" and fighting for her own life from those damn birds attacking her. Meg you came along just at the right time to save them both. Sounds like good MOP's too. Very kind.
This summer I heard high pitched little wailing noises out my back door and there was a Magpie attacking a baby bunny! I pretended I was Meg and brought it inside and made sure it had no wounds then put back under the shed where they usually have their babies. All those bully birds are big meanies!
The mops are so cute- i'm glad they had such interest and heart to help out the bat. But most importantly-- thanks to Meg for again being a wonderful bat godmother!
It is really nice how you educate those on scene and us at the same time. Glad no one was scratched. You have an amazing intuition and skill with these bats. Glad she and baby are in your care. I hope Sarah can recover. I laughed when Princess spit the dummy out, little feisty gal.
What a lovely story so far, except for Sarah's stress and eye or near-eye injury. I appreciate the education you give MsOP, the concern and aptitude for your rescues that you show MsOP, the skilled care you give your batties, and your straightforward manner. Knowing to allow the little mammals time to calm andfor their adrenaline to fade, and meeting their analgesic needs is priceless. It's your knowledge AND experience that makes the difference in you.
“I want my Mum!!” Sweet little baby ♥️. Sarah is beautiful as well as little Princess 😊. I’m glad you got to them both before the birds could really harm them. I hope Sarah will be ok, she’ll heal and be able to care for little Princess. Great job Meg!
I am constantly amazed how much detail you know to put into their care. Like when you put glucose on the dummy, put it in the babies mouth, with a "twirl" to get the taste moved around . Your experience and expertise keeps saving lives and you always TRY. Thanks Meg !!
Nothing angelic about me. I just like rescuing batties. Sarah and her Princess were released a few months later, when the little Princess could fly and accompany her mum back out into the wild
Happy baby is ok ... hopefully mom will be able to take care of her little one as soon as she’s better... that little one is full of fighting lol she’s a little terror lol I’d be pissed too if I was plucked off mom’s teat... Awww so adorable when they squeak... I’m sure both will be taken care of they are in the best of hands.... you’re the best Meg ... I know you just love those babies! Lol ....❤️🦇🦇🦇🦇
It really is amazing how quickly they learn not to bite the syringe, even when they've managed to knock themselves into next week. Fingers crossed that mum recovers enough to resume caring for that adorable little octopus of hers!
Once her adrenaline wore off she didn't really care that I took her baby - she made a token effort to take her back from me but gave up. Baby fell in love with me when I fed her and she finally had something to eat and drink.
I'm always impressed with you Meg, you have very strong hands. Those big syringes are hard to push, at least for me, and you push the liquids in at such a controlled rate. Thank you for helping the Bats.
I don't use the 60 ml syringes because my hands are too small to wield them effectively, but yes I have strong hands. But this week the case of champagne I opened had all really difficult corks to get out. I managed to do one cork with a lot of effort, then one had me totally defeated. I just couldn't budge it even with a grippy silicone thing. I was going to do my usual hack - and hack off the top of the cork with a carving knife and then use a corkscrew (I have done that before), then I remembered I have big girl tools, and I used some vice grips and just loosened it easily. The entire case had corks which were nearly impossible to get out with hand strength alone. One was difficult to get out with the vice grips. Never let a logistical issue get in between Meg and her Champagne.
You're performing a wonderful service, not only to the beautiful beasties that you rescue, but also comforting those of us watching, who need to see this. It fills a need to have contact with animals, next best thing to being there! Thank you!
Every time you ask one a question, as smart as they are, I am just waiting for one to answer, lol. These amazing beautiful creatures are so harmless as long as they are left alone (just like any wild animal). All wildlife rescuers are true heros in my book. You give up your life to help the ones who can not help themselves.
Poor mum .. she hit her head , and a frightful experience .. then a giant human takes her baby .. but mama , Meg is saving you and baby !! I love that you named the baby after the Princess ... and I hope mum and baby do really well ! 💕🦇💕🦇💕

Poor little thing, so glad you found her!! I love these little bats, they are so cute and sweet! You are so good with them! Love to the battles and you, too! ❤💋😀
If I were the Little Princess I’d be having a hissy fit too, after all she has been through. She and Sarah are both gorgeous. Poor Sarah was pretty stressed out by it all…and who wouldn’t be?🖤🇨🇦
You are such a good, kind, and decent person I wish you and everything you touch the greatest of success. You are a honest person and don't try to be something your not. I deeply respect you for that. Sending love to you and your furry family and human family from East Tennessee USA❣️🦇🖤
All best full recovery wishes for Sarah and Little Princess. And (construction) hats off to the workers who caringly bundled them up before you came to the rescue. 🙂❤🦇
I have watched so many of your videos that I knew there was a problem with her eye before you mentioned it. I do so look forward to your videos at the end of my day
Get a realistic one from an actual photo of one of their adorable faces, not one of those cartoony or fake horror type bats. I can just imagine one of those precious faces looking out at someone with those little bat puppy dog eyes.
What an adorable little octopus! So full of p&v. Poor sweetie. Mama sure snatched her almost right out of your hand there. Glad they are with you Meg. Really really hope they do well and can be together soon. Thankyou and God bless you.🦇🎃🖤

If you want to find out further videos of a specific bat - search in the YT search bar for Megabattie/name of bat.
Wow! Mother and baby together, without the mother dying as you arrive or shortly thereafter. Lovely!
The only thing I have to say is that if I were a little injured batty I'd want you to take care of me. You are the best caretaker.
You are so appreciated 🇺🇸
Awww....good for the construction worker who took the shirt off his back for this bat. My kind of guy!

all of Meg's rescues seem to teach any MOP's around that batties are worthy of care , beautiful and interesting.

I love that too, the more people learn about bats, the better for the bats. 🥰
@@zxyatiywariii8 love learning about bats. They are so cute 😍
That really tugs at your heart to see how distressed they are to be separated. All the good wishes for them.
Saw Flying Foxes in the Columbus Zoo today (Columbus, Ohio, USA) and thought of you. Most darling animals ever!
Yes, they have Malayan Flying-Foxes there, and little Golden Mantled Flying-Foxes I think.
Poor little mama and babe. She’s had a very rough go of it, but hopefully, with expert care she and her baby girl will make it.
That could have turned out very badly oh I'm so glad they called you and I hope this turns out okay for Sarah and Princess
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Such a wonderful woman...Bless you

What a beautiful pair, hope she recovers well
I love watching you work. You do great things with great love.
It's not hard to love these little ones; I just follow my heart and my obsession with the bats (a totally accidental obsession which stole my life...)
I love the way the big burly men go all aaaah over them, nice to see. Thanks Megs xx
The baby looks in good shape, considering everything. Good job as usual Meg.
We are all rooting for you little lady.
Mom Sarah is another beauty. Her little girl is a precious Princess. I so wish I could help them out. xxx 💖💖💖

Even knowing how necessary it is for you to remove Sarah's baby, it's still hard to watch. I'm glad she's with the Princess. She'll be well cared for.
She's not with the Princess - she's with another carer and baby (Princess) will be returned to her when she's ready.
