This is my favorite song off this album. The whole album is to romantic for me sometimes(it’s still my favorite tho)and I just need that chaotic song sometimes. And this is it for me. Same goes for “our lady of sorrows”
Thank you for the venom is a good one too, "Three Cheers.." its a great album and maybe the best of the genre imo. The Used is another band you should react, is kinda the same but very bass driven
I get what you mean about the time signature/rhythmic changes, although personally, I’ve never thought about it not tying in. Maybe because the rest of the song does that (the “Never again” and “two shots” repeating, thematic/melodic tie in), and the foreknowledge of it being the closing track in the album so the staggering/clunky feel is intended and moving it back to 4/4 might make the song too long. It’s also the closing song to a (albeit loose) concept album, but one of the biggest tie in tracks to said concept, so as a standalone reaction song I’d probably feel the same way! Regardless, can’t wait to see what other MCR has been sent your way, hopefully some more guitar focused work although Gerard is a fantastic storyteller in every song!
Glad you're doing more MCR. I wonder how you'll feel about their more complex songs in the Black Parade.

Interesting, one of the things that makes this one of my favortie MCR song is because of the changes and things no necessarily "tying in"!
Good
