The NSX I like to refer to as King Ghidorah. There's a few video's of it gapping the GTR back in 2018. Nissan had to go up the power the very next year so Godzilla would take his JDM throne back. The problem is the NC1 is nearly 4000lbs, even in its Type S form. If Honda found a way to shave 500lbs it would be an absolute weapon. That's a reference point since the C7 it's racing here weighs around the target weight of 3500lbs

Reality: Corvette in the shop & in the crusher in half the time, and with 1/4th the resale value. No free lunches, you get what you pay for, you can’t penny-lunch quality & superior engineering & build.
Gm has a much bigger budget than Honda. Look at what they're now doing to destroy automobiles with electric cars. They should have let GM fail, because that's what they do best.

Furthest thing from the truth. The NSX was not engineered to be a dragster. Any heap with 4 wheels & a big enough motor can be fast. The NSX is a Honda cutting-edge technology showpiece that’s a superb handling & accelerating car. It’s also the only truly multi-mode daily driver that’s also reliable. The car’s technology enables average drivers to get exhilarating results from behind the wheel where a Vette for example would otherwise become wrapped around a telephone pole.
