It's amazing to see what kind of stuff is still in storage units all over the country. I imagine there are still lots of other hidden collections out there that are yet to be uncovered!
5:30? Man gives a whole new meaning to the early bird gets the worm. Thanks for sharing these vids as always bud. It really shows how much excitement there can be on a good dig!
Thanks for taking us on the journey. Yeah, the Bread and Butter on those "basic" albums that EVERYONE seems to want: Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, etc. ...and thanks for the introduction to The Montgomery Movement album. After seeing that in your other vid I checked it out and HAD to pick up a copy. Reissue of course lol. Fantastic piece though so thanks man!!!
Diggin' is good for the soul! I went to a house this morning with the hopes of digging through 25,000+ records. The woman had about 300 that I could flip through and maybe another 2,000 that I couldn't (yet). I don't know how she can say she has 25,000 when, at best, she has 2,500. That being said... It was a nice drive (not too far, not too early) and I scored Graffiti (1968) in NM- condition, Sur. Pillow (1967) stereo (already have a scratched-up mono original), a Monk (jazz) lp, a bluegrass one to trade with I guy i know who has some killer rare stuff, a RUN DMC, and a S & the banshees 12". I can't complain because I only spent $20 including letting her keep the change. I'm going to get word about a another (better?) pick tomorrow. peace.
Mr. Dillon - another great road trip video! I’d be real interested in seeing a top 20 “bread & butter” list that keeps your store open. I help supply a non-profit resale shop w/ a record area & really want to help grow things. I’m a firm believer in the Sharon Jones maxim of “Give the people what they want!” Thanks!!!
Another great video! Wish I was closer to the shop to come by for a dig, but I’m up here in Michigan. Those Neverminds are the ones to own from a sound quality perspective.
Those home runs are for the big boys or your collection. The bunts, singles, doubles and triples are for us and keeps you going. It is the stuff we buy. Everyone needs a copy of Thriller by Michael Jackson right. ;-)
Do you mind me asking what you average spend is? Do you know notice that people generally by more than one record even if they only intended on buying 1?
I knooooow you don’t offer albums for sale online often, but would you sell that Excitable Boy signed? That would be so cool…that Lou Reed is also suuuuper freaking cool
Im kinda jealous of people who are starting their collection, ive burned through the cheap end of record collecting , im on over 150 now , bought 90% of that in last 3 months ... when i go in a store now it is a lot harder to find what i want
@@noblerecords No joke! Chad Kassem got stopped for being overweight. You might sneak through in a regular truck. For those big hauls, bring the credit card for an extra moving van. Most people want a deal and the volume is in the cheaper records. I'm starting my own store (on Discogs and mostly cds) and have taken two things in mind (clean and sellable titles).
man, I have been looking for a stiff upper lip record from ac/dc I know a lot of ac/dc fans will hate me for that but its my most wanted record I'm and I can't find it anywhere so if you find one and if you see this please let me know in a video
There are no records worth $100s of dollars. Ive paid $50 for one album only but it was brand new...used records have already been purchased played and are not worth $20, $30 $200...they are all $10 or under. Stop ripping people off.
i have lots of trower albums , uk 1sts but they never sound brilliant ... i love them though, i just got in city dreams. Any good shop will always have a rack full of trower , no on buys him anymore
@@noblerecords bridge of sighs belongs in any good rock collection for sure i just picked up carvan to midnight too trower still tours regularly and still plays his ass off , saw him a few years back and he is still shredding ... long live trower

"What makes rent is Fleetwood mac - Rumours". So true.

Sorry I had to leave, nice to meet Dom.. you did well.. enjoyed being part of the dig. Dan
I was drooling watching this video, incredible finds.
WOW! WOW! WOW! Autographed Warren Zevon! & Little Feat. MAN!
Your advice on buying is spot on, my lil shop sells WAAAYYYYYYY more stuff that is $20 and less than our spicy stuff
For sure!
Wow- admire your dedication. Always enjoy digging through records- time seems to pass quickly though. The end result is often great though.
Wow! The lighting. What a great, early morning vibe. Well done.

December output has been great, well done and thanks!
Little Feat representing the mambo! I’ve been hunting for that in the wild for years. And you find an autographed copy.

Many good collectors in SC great find.
16:44 Miller Anderson "Bright City" US pressing 1971. Nice. I have a 1971 UK copy.
Robin Trower is still in regular rotation here at the studio.

Would love to have that Savatage "Gutter Ballet" LP
Hi Dillon is that Charlie Brown record you showed in the flip at the end going to be available online?

Haha I suppose!
WOW that's awesome great hall.
Love Chicago. Just saw them last week. I also have the Chicago MoFi.
Saw that Savatage album during the flip....nice!

Awesome finds
Thanks for watching! 🙏
Bread and butter items pays the bills!
🍞 🧈 💰
the shop i go in the guy cant stock enough copies of the rumours reissue
How come a bunch of the records were in the flip box in all different directions? Was that intentional?
not really, just haven’t been through them to process them yet.
@@noblerecords oh ok, at first inwas wondering if you were keeping things in a way to pull the discs out easier, lol
Looks like that could almost be my Hendrix collection. Except my LPs end at about 1998.
Brilliant stuff there from a Brit record seller
Bro, I blame you for my listening to Bruce Springsteen "Nebraska" lol
I’ll take it

The background song reminds me of Psycho Killer from Stop Making Sense
Where these therein the summer months? Wouldn't hey all be warped by now?

Two copies of Fillmore, damn!
Yep! Got another one in the last trip
Awesome stuff

Excellent video partner
Thanks!
You picked at 6AM,sale started at 8AM.You come back another day and those are the "leftovers" ?
Something like that.
@@noblerecords Wow...so I guess all the other buyers were looking for Tony Bennett,James Last and Nana Mouskouri !!!
Love it!
Thanks!
Just curious, how Long have you had a beard for?
On and off since i was about 14 but I’ve had this one without shaving for maybe 7 years
16:46 What’s the title on that Peter Green record?
Was warren Zevon in the James Bond movie For Your Eyes Only. One of the bad guys Bond kills looks like him
Big ups to Flight of the Conchords for the background tunes
🤣
Curious, do you have any “Rubber Dubber” label bootlegs?
I have several in my collection! Great stuff!
Don't eat too much breakfast or lunch cause you might have to hit the highway scales.
Too late 🤣

So good!
do you ever collect cover art, album covers regardless the music
Me personally, no. It’s all about the music for me, but some people probably do
@@noblerecords awesome
Any album with Rick Griffin art!!
You left this last time. Wow
Yeah I mean like I said with all the Hendrix stuff, it was about the price. But we were able to work it out this time.

Gutter Ballet? Wtf?
🤣
Dude STOP talking about selling bootlegs. RIAA will gladly sue your ass out of business over that. Be low key. Just some friendly advice.
I usually enjoy your videos, but hearing that generic background music for the entire video was a true test of patience.
