Not sure why my other comment got removed but will paste it here- (please give it a shot)
Please react to "FROM" have been watching many shows growing up with yall and loving your reactions. Please watch "FROM" it's an amazing horror TV series that first aired in 2022. So far only 2 seasons, but a 3rd one coming later on this year. It would be really awesome if you guys managed to react to it and will definitely get the patron for early reactions 😅
For context i just started the show 2 weeks ago but finished it in a week ☹️ dont feel like waiting for 3rd season to come since dont seem soon, and watching yall react to it will be amazing. At least watch the pilot and if yall not interested, dont continue (Im saying this knowing you'll like it)
“May the valkyries welcome you and lead you through Odin's great battlefield. May they sing your name with love and fury, so that we might hear it rise from the depths of Valhalla and know that you've taken your rightful place at the table of kings. For a great man has fallen: A warrior. A chieftain. A father. A friend.”
This monologue and John Powell’s INCREDIBLE score is my favorite moment of the entire trilogy. I almost didn’t want to hear Hiccup talk after this even though his words were also beautiful and moving, the score was just that powerful.
That moment always gets me teary eyed
For real. Stoick's death is to my generation what Mufasa's death was for my parents. Unexpected and devastating to watch, but so, so well done. 😢🥲
Gobber is lowkey the best character in this franchise tbh
The way his voice trembles when he said "a friend" just speaks a lot of history
For anyone that doesn't know, the Bewilderbeasts were the original Dragon King's cause they had the power to control your mind. What's more messed up is that the Bewilderbeast Drago had was the father/mother of the one Valka had and raised all those years since of it being an egg. This is all confirmed at the end of the TV series. When it was breathing hard after killing it, it realized what it did but had no choice cause Drago's yelling makes it remind itself about the abusiveness it took from him as his captive for years.
That's not exactly true. Valka gets an egg but it's not the dragon we see in this movie. The episode you talk about is set about a year or 2 before this movie. That dragon didn't grow up to this age in 1 year
@@joevictor53we dont know how fast dragons grow
@@joevictor53 what the other dude said. Never underestimate the growth of a mystical creature. Dragons can grow big in just 1 day in certain folklore. I don't know any of them but it's possible.
@@TheInsaneRazor123i mean daenerys dragons grow so fast
The family reunion was so heartwarming! Only to be destroyed torn apart again...
I always forget he dies :/
Hiccup needed to suffer harder to accept his role as chief. Honestly Drago should’ve sliced off Stoicks head and mounted it on his spear, now THAT would’ve made him suffer.
@@quinna5537what the fuck
@@Bookconsumerviolence is always the answer. You haven’t won until your opponent learns how to suffer. A real man should be able to survive being stabbed in the throat.
@@Bookconsumerviolence solves everything you lily livered tree hugger.
While Drago is a power-hungry conqueror who wants to become unstoppable and take over the world, it’s important to understand that that’s not his entire motivation. His desire to dominate dragons is motivated by revenge for dragons slaughtering his family, burning his village and tearing off his arm when he was a boy. As a result, he was left with nothing in his childhood and lived in fear, but then he vowed to rise above that fear and make all dragons live in fear of him, just as he once lived in fear of them.
So while Drago certainly took it too far, his motivation for wanting to overcome and dominate dragons is at least an *_understandable_* one.
The glowing power toothless used in this movie is a power he unlocked in the tv show
There is tv show!???? (-Navi)
@@Thenormies yes a few actually, they were on Cartoon Network and later Netflix. They take place between all three movies.
@@Thenormies Yes, Riders of Berk/Defenders of Berk/Race to the Edge fill in the 5 year gap between the first two films. That, along with the short films and christmas specials.
@@Thenormies also no big reactors have reacted to the TV show, also it's really good, especially race to the edge
@@connorbosley4431im surprised no one has at least for the older ones
This movie is impossible to watch without getting emotional. The scene of Hiccups mom and dad reuniting NEVER FAILS to make me cry!
And the song “Where no one goes” is impossible to listen to without getting chills. You can just close your eyes while listening to it and feel like you and Toothless are flying through the clouds.
Listening to “Where no one goes” is just euphoric, it’s incredible how they captured the feeling of freedom so well
Btw guys if you're curious where hiccup's wings and sword come from, or why he's so confident he can change drago's mind, check out the tv shows riders of berk and race to the edge!! Not only do we see so much development, we get alot of insight into the second movie. Small spoilers but hiccup has convinced two violent dragon hating people to grow to care for dragons, so its understandable that he thinks he can convince drago too
"You're as beautiful as the day I lost you," makes me damn near cry every time.
“Stoick’s Ship” is one of my favorite pieces of music. Makes me teary eyed every time
Disney fathers are only outdone by Anime fathers in termes of being the worst
and Dreamwork fathers are just wholesome, life goals
Ironic given that DreamWorks started out w/ Pharaoh Seti.
You best believe when trailers for this movie first came out that mom reveal was in all of them.
Stoick: *_“It takes more than a little fire to kill me!”_*
Stoick (five minutes later): **dies by fire** (more accurately, plasma, but the thought's still there)
I just remembered why this hit my emotions like a truck the first time I watched it, it came out the year my mom passed away. Hiccup's reunion with his own mother destroyed me along with everything else that happened in this movie!
One of the greatest sequels ever i love this movie the stakes are higher and so many epic moments Stoick seeing Valka and saying "Your as beautiful as the day i lost you"gets me in the feels everytime!
One more thing i absolutely love is how hickup keeps his hair knots that Astrid tied.
"Ruthlessness is not one of your thing Hiccup, Your too pure, Too kind. And One Day that can get one of your loved ones killed"
Quote from a someone somewhere in the HTTYD verse
“Probably a gender reveal party” did not get the praise it deserved I nearly spit my water out 😭😭
That took me out fr ☠️
Rana with the ACOTAR reference 😂
YASSSS! a fellow Mass lover
I was actually wondering if I heard that right LMAO It was so sudden
36:24 That imitation is so on point LMAO 🤣🤣
I think the reasoning as to why Hiccup's mom didn't come back is that the dragons, who are generally hunted to death, needed her more than Hiccup, son of the chief who would protect him well. And of course in her eyes she couldn't do both since the Stoick and vikings she knew could never try to understand the dragons. She would be standing on the wayside, unable to do anything.
She still abandoned her family. Very shitty move.
Yeah, shitty reasoning. She was a terrible mother and wife and should be more widely hated.
That’s a viewpoint… thinking about it like that actually makes it worse for me. Your son should always be more important than an animal.
@@valathor95 @valathor95 He IS more important than some animal. That's why if they were both in danger, she would choose Hiccup. And these aren't just some animals. They've been shown to have as much awareness and consciousness as humans, if not more. She knew there was a genocide being carried out against these creatures and chose to stay with them and help them survive it, and that meant leaving Hiccup in the capable hands of his father and not being in his life.
I can't, for the life of me, see the evil that you both see in that. It's not very different from a soldier leaving their family to go to war for a cause that is more important than family time.
@@hirvale
Bingo. Soldier's honor to stay in the fight and protect the innocent.
Don't forget, they're not normal vikings in this show, they can withstand a lot of damage, some literally uproot trees with their bare hands
Djimon Honsu is probably most know for his role as the friend of Maximus in Gladiator but for old heads he will always be the dude frolicking with Janet Jackson in the Love Will Never do video.
Two How To Train Your Dragon 2 reaction videos in one day? HELL YEAH!
Race To The Edge is such a fun show. Its definitely intended for a younger audience but i thoroughly enjoyed it and i really liked seeing the characters fleshed out more.
For those that dont know: drago is voiced by Djamon Houson. The black guy from gladiator, blood diamond, never back down , constantine and guardians of the galaxy among many other roles.
Suraj: "why isn't there Spyro?"
Or charizard
"You're as beautiful as the day I lost you" lives rent-free in my head 😢
And if you look close at the last dragon race, you can see Hiccup drops the black sheep into Astrid's score-net. Relationship goals.
Seth Rogen is in Kung Fu Panda and he plays Mantis. Jonah Hill is in How To Train Your Dragon and he plays Snotlout. And Kit Harrington plays a new character in this movie and he plays Eret son of Eret. lol ❤
There was a pc game for httyd. It was like an open wold Skyrim. Resolution/graphics were bad but you get to design and train dragons, as well as make your own homestead and farm.
Oh my god, I played that a lot! Such fond memories of the game.
I played the Wii version and it was quite good
i used to play that game religiously
School of dragons
18:20 in the background is basalt columns which form from lava rapidly cooling I believe. I’m no geologist so I might be wrong but if I’m right then it’s just a little fun fact. I love rocks.
Stoick's Death hits even harder if you watched the TV-Shows "Riders of Berk" (takes place right after 1st movie) and "Race To The Edge" (takes place between the first show and the 2nd movie) where Stoick had a dragon even before Skullcrusher (i think it's name was Tornado) and we get to know the dynamics between the riders and the people and antagonists of Berk. One of the best Movie-Universes out there, it's my whole childhood :D
The Netflix series, Dragons Race to the Edge took place before this film and it's a great show. It's also where Hiccup and Astrid officially decided to start dating.
43:53 Suraj wants HttyD 3 to be Berk vs Jormungandr.
Didn't realise you had reacted to this, just had to go watch the first one. Honestly you guys do so many videos it's insane, well done to you guys and thank you for all the content you provide! You guys are legends!✌🏼❤️🔥
Good question. "Why is there no game to play as a dragon" Maybe in a purple color. Using different kinds of flames. If only!
You know , it dawned upon me. If the roles were reversed and Eric acted liked that towards Ruffnut , I feel the commentary would be a lot different .
It would, but I stand by the fact that this is hilarious. If you switch the genders, the stereotypes change, connotations arise, and it's no longer the same comedic situation.
@@hirvaleyeah I think people don’t get it when they do the reverse roles thing and why it doesn’t work. On paper yeah but in reality one role is more socially stigmatized than another in our culture. Aka you can have all the men in street fighter for example oiled up and sweaty fighting muscles out shirt off and camera lingering on kicks but have one girl in any outfit and in shape and it’s considered ugh male gaze. Get a woman who’s less socially accepted “attractive” and it’s ehh. Give or take. People react weird to different things. I know people who used to love degrassi a teen highschool show that dealt with some taboo subjects to inform etc and dramatize. Today I know adults who think it’s disgusting cause kids are involved in dating etc. like as in dating other kids their age. I get why a show like that is appealing and normal for a kid that age to watch. Adults scoff at it even existing. I feel like alot of our media is put through a social lense that has evolved and labels anything not for us bad. So as we age we want everything still for us when it’s not. This slap stick on men isn’t for adults it’s not to be taken seriously for example cause yes abuse goes both ways.
@@hirvaleA man filling a role like that towards a woman isn’t funny because we instinctually perceive as threatening and we all know as a society how that plays out. But I found it really funny. I don’t understand the “if the roles were reversed” argument in a lot of situations because that logic requires the reversal of gender relations throughout all of human history.
12:20 this is the funniest scene in the film to me
I will never not howl with laughter at that scene.
Another great reaction to these movies, can't wait for the next one! This one is so damn emotional. I can also highly recommend the tv shows, especially Race to the Edge
Race To The Edge is so good. I think I might rewatch it soon ❤❤
I love this trilogy with all my heart !!!!! Doesn’t get enough credit
I just love the music in this triology I can listen to it all day and not get tired ❤
"Best role I've seen Gerard Butler do honestly."
Butler is good in "Den Of Thieves" and "Greenland" as well.
You guys should definitely check out the tv shows, especially if you like seeing all the different dragons
I've been waiting for this one for so long
I been waiting for you to watch this one!
I am so happy that Navi liked this so much.
THANK YOU FOR NO PAT THIS TIME🙏🏽🙏🏽
Agreed. Missing Mickey, but Pat just loves to root against the main character and complain whenever they overcome anything.
I believe there was a special short film between HTTYD1&2.
It was released like around Christmas I guess.
Basically Hiccup once made a new tail device that could be controlled by Toothless himself,
therefore Toothless can fly by his own again, but Toothless eventually says no. He chooses to fly with Hiccup which is truly heartwarming.
And I think that special short story made the 3rd movie hit even harder.
Really recommend you to watch it before you get into the 3rd movie. But I don’t know where to find that clip now😢
So Asking again for Show Reactions. I need to see you guys react to some of the Dragons that they have. Whispering Deaths are something else...
took yall fokin long enough maan
anyways love yall
Great reaction!
You guys have no idea, how much i waited for this after the 1st movie reaction 😮💨😂
She left for so long because she thought it would be safer if hiccup were to grow with his dad, and become a man, a dragon slayer. She thought she wouldnt be any good with her dragon piece mind view. While, what she did is not right, Her guilt for almost killing hiccup and the dad and her political view explains what she did.
there is actually a game called Divinity: Dragon Commander. it's primarily an RTS but you can choose to spawn as a dragon and manually fight.
A small detail that not everyone sees is at the end of the movie in the dragon racing Hiccup throw the black sheep in the Astrid's basket
After the first movie there is a show of how to train your dragons that could explain some “plot holes” in the second movie
A reaction with all my favorite normies!
Someone mentioned Century age of ashes, but that's closer to How to Train your dragon in terms of dragon gameplay.
If you're looking for a game where you actually PLAY as a dragon and can fly around, I'd recommend Day of Dragons on steam. Survival game where you play as a baby dragon, grow up through different stages, and can fly around and do all sorts of different attacks based on the dragon you're playing. Very fun!
I cannot wait for you kids to watch the next one!!!!
rollercoaster of emotion..
So excited for the final part of the trilogy!
Feyre and rhysand im dead😂
nice one of my fav animated trio.
RANA! Did you just make an acotar reference???😂😂
I DID!!! Night Court forever! .... also the bat boys * smirk * - Rana
@@Thenormies just when i thought i couldn’t like you more 😂🧡
Yeah we watched it opening week and on Father's day 😂
This is my personal favorite of the trilogy
YES! And the TV Series!
“Why isn’t there a game where you get to fly around as a dragon.”
Spyro: Am I joke to you?
Rana I LOVE your shirt in this
love you guys
Omg where did you get that pink and white hoodie?? That looks so cute !!
I remember seeing this in the theaters as a kid with my mom when it came out and we had to leave mid movie bc toothless killing stoick scarred me so deeply 😭 still now watching this at 18yo i feel the same
Awesome reaction of my favorite How To Train Your Dragon movie!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
“We’re definitely gunna see him again” 😅
“Like feyre did with Rhysand” 🤣🤣
Cartoon Network did have a game that tied into tje tv show called Wild Skies that let you tame yoir own dragons. It was really fun
One of the best sequels
I always took the glowing is just him superheating the plasma in his body. There is not really a real explanation, its just a thematic tool to show he has grown.
This is one of the movies I was actually shocked when I was a kid because I didn't see Hiccups dad's death coming at all.
Loved this
3:52 The disrespect to Spyro 😂
This trilogy is just magically.
3:50 “Why is there no game where you can play as a dragon”? THERE IS! It’s called Spyro The Dragon and it needs a reboot!
Didn't it get one?
@@Bookconsumer a remaster of the first 3 games but not a true reboot.
The 3rd one made me cry like a baby 😭😭
Great sequel. My daughter and I absolutely love all three and the Netflix shows.
There was a dragon game called Lair that came out when the PS3 launched. It was meant to basically be a tech demo for the ps3 six axis controller, showing off how it can be used to play flying games. It was a mid game but had cool moments and was at least an attempt to popularize a new style of gaming.
5:01 Lucerys Strong could literally never😂😂
1:03 bro said it so confidently even I was confused
There is a detail I love in the end race scene that you sadly didn't notice is the the fact that Hiccup takes the black sheep but in the end he throws it into Astrids basket.
interesting fact drago can control his alpha because he trained it from when it was a small baby using pain its the same way they used to train elephants the animal is smart enough to understand that if it sees the bullhook (the hook he waves around while shouting) and hears drago scream he better obey or there could be pain but the animal isn't smart enough to reassess the situation and that it is bigger then drago or the trainer so it simply just remembers i do as I'm told or hell use the hook to cause me great pain like when i was very small.
also i love the little details in this movie like how we see papa hiccup and drago fighting mirroring the alphas fighting and it also explains why mamma hiccup liked the alpha so much it was essentially a dragon version of her husband (a strong leader who protects his own, with the shape of a big beard). also that the alpha loses his horn mirroring that drago lost his left arm (same as how hiccup lost his leg on the same side as toothlesses tail fin)
Toothless got a literal glow up.
Navis gender reveal party joke got me chocked on my coffee 😂😂😂
Hey, do you get suggestions from RUclips to watch? How you guys choose a serie to watch?
A list of most of the Dragons you see here and the last movie.

Gronckle: Tough and Strong, Eats Rocks, Strong Jaws, Magma Spit ["Meatlug" is Fishlegs Female Gronkle]
Hideous Zippleback: Stealthy, 2 Heads, 1 Breaths Gas, 1 Spits Sparks ["Barf and Belch" are the Twins H.Z]

LOTS OF MORE IN THE SHOWS. Looks like Pokemon
"Why isn't there a game where you can play as a dragon?"
Ummm... Spyro?
My thoughts exactly haha
"Bro what fight do you have?" Famous last words
Toothless really channeled his inner Godzilla towards the end in this
This is got to be one of the best movies in the franchise next to three
Regarding the question at 3:50... There's a Minecraft mod that lets you play as a dragon instead of as a human, with flight and breath weapons and different elemental affinities/weaknesses... It's called Dragon Survival, and it's pretty damn cool. One of my favorite mods, in fact.
Back in the day, there was a game called Panzer Dragoon on Sega Dreamcast that you could fly a dragon.
