Hi Just like you after doing engineering I did job for 15 months in sales in edtech industry. How should I justify that after doing engineering I took first job in sales and now i want to persue Mba. If yoi can suggest some key points??
I used to say I did engineering because I was interested in engineering, and I took up sales because I realised my interests lie elsewhere. It's not confusion, it's determination that allowed me to make that switch. I want to pursue marketing as an extension of sales, the skills that I learnt in both engineering and sales will come useful here. They'll probably ask what did you learn in engineering which will help you here - and you can talk about attention to detail/understanding of the problems at a granular level, which will help a lot during marketing research and analysis.
Which other questions would you like me to tackle? Next two question: Why MBA!; What are your strengths and weaknesses?
1.Why Gap year?
2.Strength and weakness?
3.Career Goal
Absolutely! Will make videos on these topics
