Fantastic build, turned out beautiful. I would have made it a 4 door, but, that's just me. The great thing is as individuals, we all have a vision. Great truck!
@@dalesmth1 I've seen it done, and it's not as bad as one would think. Of course it is more time and effort though. But it must be funny to tell the rear passenger to go around and get in!
Absolutely a cool truck but personally I think the coolest thing was how he involved all the young minds and talent that’s something you don’t hardly see anymore 👍👍👍
This is the best genius idea I've seen yet. Full functionality & old school style. it's not a long or shot bed, its a Suburban Conversion! I imagine a powerful all electric system in it one day!
I owned 72 stepside. I wanted a 3 door so bad. This is heaven on wheels. Best of both. This video is Awesome!! Makes me want to rethink next year's project !! Lol.
Great looking truck, the bed seems off to me like it is arched in some pics like it’s bent up at the cab. The stance just doesn’t seem right, but it is a wonderful looking truck other than that. Very well done , much to be proud of right there.
It should have been a beat up burb, don't know why someone would do that to something so nice. This is what you with junk, not with something that just needed a seat!
Never mind on my questions I watched again and you answer my questions at beginning of video. I do love the finished truck I hope you enjoy it for many years.
That project had turned out awesome, but my only gripe is that a rare, perfectly good suburban was trashed. Should have found something else to play with. Just my thoughts and feelings.
Very nice! How much can someone expect to spend for this build with all the quality you put into it? I'm thinking of getting a Burb so that eventually maybe I can do the same conversion
You guys did a great job with the truck . I want to ask you how you fixed the ac vent under the dash to feed the 72 truck vents. Did you use the parts from the new ac that you installed
What frame did you use? I'm sure you showed in the video but I'm old and tend to fall asleep also what engine and trans was used. You did an excellent job I love it.
Thats a nice build must be a 20k price it cost me 13 k to rebuild a toyota hzj75 series after i was side hit and rolled 5 times did a color change from white to yellow lol
Why didnt you just do an off frame restoration to the suburban and had an 80,000 suburban. Now you have a 50,000 truck. You could have just taken a truck and extended it for way less money.
4 whl Steering. Makes the vehicle more maneuverable. GMC had it, called Quadrasteer. Only used for slow speed maneuvering. Came out in 2002, only last a few years.
30 seconds into the video and I would have been happy reupholstering the seats of that yellow submarine and leaving it the hell alone.
Me too would like the suburban more, but absolutely beautiful job.
I would of restored it, rare truck as it was.
I want one just like it. That was beautiful. Good job.
Fantastic build, turned out beautiful. I would have made it a 4 door, but, that's just me. The great thing is as individuals, we all have a vision. Great truck!
That would be difficult, considering Chevy didn’t make a 4 door “Suburban” then. So it would have to be a difficult custom door and jam build.

@@metalbill my dad had one of the 3 door 'burbs when I was small. I wasn't strange to us at all to not have the 4th door.

Way over the top. A feat of engineering and beautiful. I know you're very of it and thank you for sharing it. Perfect!!
Tell you what you will never see another one like this. Love the truck guys and thank you for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy your videos.
Thanks for painting the white on the front fenders! Was driving me crazy! Lol! Beautiful job as always! Thank you for the video.

I love it!! So much work and details!!! Other than the wheels , someone really dropped the ball on those 😮
That hurt to see a Suburban desecrated.
It should have been a beat up burb, don't know why someone would do that to something so nice. This is what you with junk, not with something that just needed a seat!
Yeah I agree. Why did they destroy a very rare and expensive suburban.
I,d put kidney bean rims on it to give more of retro look..But i must say one of the most Beautiful trucks i have ever seen !!!! perfection !!!
Well folks if you want your vehicle restored perfect. I suggest you see these guys! For sure! The best around!
Beautiful truck, I can appreciate every single detail that you did.
Got to have the hot Rod Magazine in the background LOL great build

Nice job for sure, great idea buuuut I have to ask,why would you do that to a burb that just needed a front seat?
It needed a complete paint job it was rusting, but I know what you mean.
@@weirdmatter I've personally resurrected things, this one needed very Lil work at best. I do know this burb is hard to find but nice build .
The most beautiful truck ever!!
Name of the channel: "Hand Built Cars"
Why am I not subscribed?!?
Fixed that.
Very nicely done!! I own a 71 Sub and often wished it was a truck... thats just a little out of my wheel house....
Very cool project I love your videos
Video was a little too long, but the results are beautiful!
Great build, never mind the critics . It's way engineer really good. Thanks 😊
Why go through all the trouble building this beautiful truck and not make it a full 4 door?
Sick truck love it 👍🏼👍🏼

Nice ride

Gm should have built that

No only 2 doors
How come the back tire's move???
