Bruh....I did not know to do that step when you hit record to add the sequences into song with the pads!! I've been inserting them the whole time. And I've had the Ren, touch, live and mpc x!! A big DUHHHH moment. And i been said,, " it would be cool if I could hit the pads to insert sequences" duhhhh Thanks bruh!!
Thx for making this video, it really help me alot just the words you spoke were very helpful. Using the Live in control mode made the Software feel like a editing tool. I got great results.

Now my question is the following: Is it possible, once we have created the whole sequence with beat, loops, samples, maybe some bass, to add a 'parallel' kind of recording, covering the whole sequence? Watching you I finally know how to set up my sequence to make a song but when go to the pad mute page and up where it says program which I put the name of my drum program, I'm trying to set each of my 6 sequences up turning the knob and it's not going to any of my sequences at all. How do I get that fixed so I can make my song?

Was thinking about getting an mpc x along with a roli seaboard. I dont know how to play a keyboard, i want to use it for the 5 dimensions for expression to briing life to beat making. I seen you had a roli, do you recommend it?
@@st.thomas5802 TY....I ended up with the IPad because I use it for other stuff too. Plus the apps are cheaper than me trying buy sounds and I actually find it easier for production. I tried the MPC in stores and the work flow wasn’t for me.

In your sequence could you mute out the hi hats for like two bars for instance in one version of your hooks while it’s recording by muting and unmuting the pad with the hi hats?
How are you getting the mpcx to display on the monitor on the wall. I have a Old 55” Samsung I want to mount on the wall and use as a display for my mpcx to help these old eyes see what I’m doing. Thanks
Im having an issue when i do song mode. I arrange it how i want and its good but when i convert to sequence it butchers it and it becomes all off beat. And yes everything is the same tempo

Same process without touch screen. Just have to rely on Computer screen instead
at 13.19 you hit a button to bring up the sequences where you muted pads, what button did you push, it is being hidden behind the screen ?

If I’m looking for that one go to production piece of equipment...would you go MPC One or IPad with Beat Maker 3?
MPC is a more hands on workflow and integrated better with controls. But if you're ok with using more touch controls BM3 it's an incredible value.

Just go to plugin icon and a drop down menu should show up to select plugins
