if slicks are hot they do OK , when the water cools them down they are evil

This isn't superbike, this is supersport which is the equivalent of Moto2, and if you think MotoGP isn't good to watch, that's because you only started watching it this season, when it comes to racing MotoGP this season is not as cool as it used to be, wanna watch an excellent GP race? watch 2015 Qatar, 2015 Australia, and 2018 Assen, you can find them on YT, 3 crazy races, especially Assen with more than 170 overtakes in 40 min, just crazy, I could suggest many more but those 3 are good enough.

I chased Mike Hailwood around Bathurst for 30 laps in worse conditions than this. There was mud running across the track just after the dipper. No one even considered stopping the race. Mike was on a TZ750 with slicks front and rear, I was on a TZ350 with a treaded tyre on the front and a slick on the back.
You probably raced it in the 60s or 70s. Back then, security was not at an enviable level. I believe you are proud to have raced with a legendary MotoGP rider. Of course if you're not lying.
how were even close with a 350 to his 750? I suppose lighter bike and revs.. Either way its cool to meet you.
@@Devil3R The extemely heavy rain and slick tyres seemed to be a much bigger handicap to the 750 than my 350 (which I had been able to get a treaded tyre on to the front wheel before the grid was called). BTW he still left me behind on conrod and I did not catch up till the dipper pretty well every lap.
sorry but that sounds fake. first of all Bathrust in worse conditions on slicks probably isnt possible considering there would be no grip and you would see nothing. also you would have to be about 70 now with a youtube account. not many 70 yo have yt accounts were they comment about their life
Worth keeping in mind that Bathurst has a crown to the road, so water would've at least drained off the road a bit, right? With such a flat surface like this track, I'd guess there'd be a lot more standing water.

These guys look more stable and are going faster than Brad Binder did in much less rain at Austria 2021. Michelin being bad or difference in track surface?
less power on the bike, less wheel spinning out of the corners. I think motogp tyres get

Michelins are crap if you compare them to Bridgestone and in some situations Dunlop too

Meaning a dry racing tire but still had some sort of grooves like a standard road tire would have instead of what they're running on here: full slicks.
