Sebastian and Ominis storyline is the most intriguing and dark, at least for me
@Jeremys fun and gaming imagine if you marry him... 🤭
Same, it felt more like the main quest than the actual one lol
@Jeremys fun and gaming he's actually his great uncle, his brother is voldy's grandpa
It’s cool that there are different dialogue options for this quest line when you’re in Slytherin vs not.
I thought it was one of the best storylines. Poppy's is my second favorite.
In my playthrough, when I opened the corridor to the scriptorium, Sebastian makes the joke, "It's dark and Ominis in here..." and Ominis reacts with "Ha-ha, very funny" to it. So when you made a similar joke, I laughed thinking that you were acting just like Sebastian xD
And then Sebs super confident "oh come one, that was a good one!" XD
@@jackiegerlach I love his banter
Seb loves making pun in quite a few quests :p
“I’m a Hufflepuff but I’m a chaotic Hufflepuff” That explains things so well.
It doesn't not if she isn't unlocking the no no spells
If she was a true chaotic hufflepuff, she would crucio the poachers. But if she wanna play the Weenie then thats her choice :3
chaotic mean in a state of disorder or confusion not evil so Im not sure why it has anything to do with the unforgivables.
@Ancient Warrior who doesnt want to inflict pain and suffering on thier enemies?
let's be honest she's a griffondor 😭 😂🤣
every hufflepuff is hufflepuff until it's time to face ugly spiders and show kindness
The name Gaunt is familiar because Ominis is the Great Uncle of He who shall not be Named.
So is Ominis Marvolo's little brother then? Because Marvolo was born around 1860 and Ominis around 1875.
@@Tar-Numendil It would fit certainly given that he has elder siblings who cast Cruciato on him
@@jamesmaclennan4525I wonder how he'd react if he knew Voldemort was related to him. Probably disgusted but not that shocked.
@@annieandelsieofarendelle3294 I've made a Tom Riddle character
@@Tar-NumendilHe’s actually Voldemorts mothers brother. She was a Gaunt. Tom Riddle has no relation I believe.
How each House reacts to learning the Unforgivable Curses:
Hufflepuff: I will not learn them even if my life depends on it!
Ravenclaw: I don't want to learn it....buuuuuut I am curious to know how they work
Gryffindor: I will learn them, but I will use them as a last resort
Slytherin: *UNLIMITED POWER!!!!!*
I played as a Slytherin and I was ambivalent to Crucio and Imperio, but AK is so OP it's ridiculous and it's extremely useful for map clearing. I ain't afraid of no trolls!
Well seid with Slytherin
I'm a Ravenpuff. My reaction to the three:
I'll learn Imperio so I can teach others how to resist it. I'll also learn it in case my depressed sister tries to end it all so I can stop her long enough to get her some help.
I'll learn Crucio but only use it if absolutely necessary. Pain is a powerful distraction that can, for example, stop kidnappers in their tracks, and the Cruciatus curse might be the only thing that can penetrate the defenses of pain-inhibiting substances. I won't like it, but I'll use it if I must.
I won't even bother learning Avada Kedavra. Even though it could be useful, and it's probably the most humane way of taking someone's life when necessary, casting the spell for any reason will fracture the caster's very soul. As there are other ways of taking a life that are still relatively quick and/or painless, I see no reason why this spell would ever be necessary.
Edited for a grammatical mistake I just realized.
This is so true. I'm a ravenclaw and I wanted to play my first time as how I'd act in real life. I was very curious and tempted by the unforgivable curses. I didn't try them because irl I'd probably just learn how they work in theory and never use them. Instead I'd learn and use every curse and spell that won't get me locked up in Azkaban. I'd love duelling so much irl. Next time I'm going to play like Tom Riddle though. 😈
Pretty much. First playthrough as a Ravenclaw: I learnt them but didn't use them (except in the one quest where Natty was kidnapped - I figured that was the moment to use everything I had). Second playthrough as a Slytherin: use them all the time. Crucio isn't very useful at first, but if you take the talent it starts cursing anyone nearby.
The orbs that the Pensieve Guardians create are color-coded to your spells. Use the appropriate color of spell on those to send them back at the Guardian. Thoroughly enjoying these videos!
I was surprised she didn't do it sooner because it's similar to the enemy shields we break with matching spells and she's pretty good with combat. It also says it with Duelling Feats, but I can imagine it's easy to forget those in a panic :)
1:06:04 "This quest was a little bit too… Ominis for me." 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm here for the dad jokes.
When the big boss at the end is making the orbs, use the same color spell to cancel it. They’re unavoidable.
I love the house-specific lines you get with your companions, like while fighting with Sebastian your character goes: "I don't know why Gryffindors get all the credit for bravery. We Slytherins are certainly teeming with it." Then Sebastian responds: "And we are much more fun to fight with."
the way this is such a prideful lie on sebastian's part according to the books tho lol most slytherins just ran away from big fights
As a Ravenclaw, I always opt to learn all the unforgivable curses. But always play with morality by never using it. There's a difference between knowing the spells and abusing it. So I always play with a rule/code. Learn all unforgivable curses, but never use them on sentient beings such as Dark Wizards and Goblins. But I don't mind using them against spiders, mongrels, trolls, etc.
And that scene with Sebastian, I always choose to teach me the spell but cast it on me. That way, she would know the consequences of using it to a person and never to abuse the knowledge of the spell she learned towards another.
You can add a Beast Feeder (conjuration bought in Hogsmeade) to your Vivariums so you don't have to feed everyone individually, and you can also add in unique decorations to make the spaces feel more homely too
The feeder helps keep them from rushing you when you enter, but I was saddened that the beast toy(s) disappear when you leave a Vivarium.
The fact that I just finished off watching the last episode today just to be blessed with the next. After the audition day I had, this is a literal saving grace for my sanity
1:04:09 Who else thought "Oooh, let me sip on this mug that's been sitting locked away in this scriptorium for who knows how long" was a bad idea?
How has Miranda still not understood that the portals are not two sided? Miranda, the sides are color coded. A side that doesn’t have a color will not change anything when you go through it.
That was getting me as well. Miranda runs through portal . . . confused look "I can't see them?" proceeds to keep running around the portal and back through the same side over and over again. Even when she ran through a color coded one she kept using the same side
I'm a Hufflepuff and learned all three unforgivables. I don't use Imperio. but the other two.....hell yeah . To my defense, I only use them on enemies. And on a darker note. Cursing a room full of enemies and doing a mass AK is AWESOME.
The pensive memory really made me remember Sebastian and Ann. This is directly what Sebastian is looking for.
something i noticed in the sebastian quest was that sebastian just didn’t ask if miranda was okay after casting crucio lol. ominis was really concerned about miranda but sebastian was just “wow! salazar slytherin’s room!”
Later on when your talking about it you can comment on crucio and he say's he's glad we did it. I can just see my character glaring at him for essentially saying he's glad he used the torture curse on her to get a book, more over a book he's not letting her a Ravenclaw read.
As a Hufflepuff I was like: There’s no moral system so I don’t see a problem with using them, they’re incredibly useful and I just love to stay hidden and keep casting Imperio and watching them fight against eachother
Me: *Incoherent screaming at my monitor to explode the orbs as they're charging*
Miranda: "Those have never not hit me!"
Me: "😑"
There are quite a few familiar names here. Like Leander Prewett (whom you beat in the summoner's court game) is an ancestor of Molly Weasley (nee Prewett). Tom Riddle didn't go to Hogwarts until 1938, so he's still 30 years away from being born when Legacy takes place.
Tom Riddle is a descendant Salazar Slytherin,.
"No, no, there's nothing going on between the 2 of us"
😂😂😂
I think you grabbed the wrong end of the wand.
Sebastian wasn't implying any sort of romance between you and ominus he was saying between your ancient magic ability and ominus' ability to speak parseltongue he feels left out for not having a rare ability 😂
My favorite side quests are the ones you do with your fellow classmates, so much world to explore as well, I just love this game
On whom else would you use them- your friends?
Btw: there is no excuse in „I am only cruel to certain people“. Either you are a good person or your aren’t.
@@Celisar1 i feel like there is definitely some grey area, if someone is tryna kill me imma protect myself, that wouldn’t mean that i am automatically a bad person
@@Celisar1 when that guy said any special words you want me to pass on to your mum I was like yes there is Crucio!!!
I always admire your positive vibes Miranda! Your are filled with joy! Great gaming, great RUclips content!
That Sebastian quest gave me chills when I first played it. I chose to learn Crucio and cast it on Sebastian, as a Slytherin lol. But my character feels that the Dark arts are important to learn, but I would only use them if absolutely necessary to save the people I care about.
Wait till I learn avada kedavra and I will make the school turn into Columbine 😅
@@jessem.5867 outta pocket for that one bro…
@@adamevangelista191 my fault
LOL i am laughing so hard right now. You were feeding the animals, so adorable and they were all patiently waiting and then you zapped them. LOL
I felt so bad! Sometimes I get trigger happy!!!
I'm a very proud Hufflepuff, truly. But I decided to learn Crucio and even used it. I did not want to leave Sebastian with that burden and yes, I also wanted him to experience the pain since I felt he was going down a dark path. I either hoped I could make him realise how awful that curse is or at least make him learn what pain he is causing to others, if he ever used it. I did not once use an unforgivable again btw, but someone had to cast it or all three of us would have died down there
Edit: also, it was his idea to find the Scriptorium and indulge in dark magic. I followed him for about 30 minutes around the castle 'cause I felt bad and wanted to make sure he's alright xD But he took it like a champ, just like our player character would have done
Edit 2: I also cried a bit when Ominis told us how he can never forgive himself :') that one hurt
"i'M a VeRy PrOuD HuFfLePuFf"? You do realize that you are not actually a witch or wizard, right? Plus, you are still killing countless other people and creatures to progress through the game; but you are getting butthurt about doing so with doing so with one of the Three Unforgivable Curses simply because of what? Misplaced, hypocritical, self righteousness?
So killing them with regular spells is somehow better than doing so with the "bad" spells? No, killing someone is killing someone; regardless of which spell you use to do so. Stop trying to shame one decision regarding life while taking lives by your own accord. That is not how shit works.
Knowing the Cruciatus Curse and using it IN A F*CKING VIDEO GAME, does not suddenly make you a "bad wizard" when you are literally only using it against bad people and bad creatures that are trying to kill you and cause you harm. You do what you have to do in order to progress through the story, moron.
Furthermore, it is the decisions that you make during the quests and the actions you make towards the other students and NPC's that determines whether not your are a "bad wizard". Simply knowing the Three Unforgivable Curses means absolutely nothing in regards of that.
I just hate this double standard that some people have about it; especially with all of you wussy, chicken shit Hufflepuffs. You need to progress through the game regardless, so you may as well learn every spell that the game has to offer.
You are one of the imbeciles who would immediately die in a zombie apocalypse because you "ReFuSe To UsE A GuN", so you would rather just run away and let zombies eat your face instead of growing a pair of balls and fighting for your life. Typical, chicken shit Hufflepuff attitude, get a life 🤣😂
You are absolutely PATHETIC. Using the Three Unforgivable Curses in a damn video game against people who are trying to kill you does not make you some inherently evil person. What makes you good or bad is the decisions that you make during quests and towards other students and NPC's throughout the world.
You sound like you feel as though this was an actual life decision, which makes me laugh. Knowing the Three Unforgivable Curses does not automatically make you evil, you are stupid for even thinking that it does. Grow up.
By your logic: Owning a gun makes you evil, because of what it can do. So, protecting yourself and your family is evil? No, it is the intentions behind it and the person wielding it who makes that choice. Everything in this game is basically preservation of life. If you could actually go around killing the other kids and NPC's with those Curses, and you were doing just that, then that would be different.
But that is not what you are doing in the game. You are acting like simply knowing the Curses is shaming your House, when it is not. It is your actions, intentions, and behavior that cause shame. Not what you know. This is why Hufflepuffs are always a joke in the books 🤣😂
I think Charles Rockwood mentioned at the end of the 1st trial that there are places to improve your ancient magic meter such the place encountered in 27:00
1:58:00 Those bubbles are charged attacks by the boss. They are undodgable, so it’s not because of your timing. You figured out the red bubble can be hit, now the other two bubbles are purple and yellow. And your spells are also very colorful (;
I genuinely was in shock that she beat him the second time around without figuring that out
@@LynzNacoal the game don't really tell you that I didn't know until I looked on the internet
I mean honestly better than me I didn’t realize that until my second playthrough😭
@@jayluna3900 I think the game would usually tell you it's strange why they don't no wonder people get stuck on that part
@@Nathanrichards1370 actually the game makes it pretty obvious without blatantly spelling it out on the screen in huge flashing letters, also if you read the enemy codex, it tells you the weaknesses of every enemy in the game
You might want to read the notes you pick up about Eunon Blackwood if you want to know about how dark Hufflepuffians can get.
It is actually kind of impressive being able to complete the trial without having any idea how the mechanics work or even what the mechanics are.
Greetings from germany, I'm finally up to date with your gameplay and I love your happy hufflepuffy vibes ✨ thank you so much for 2 hours more to enjoy 🥰
Instant play! 🤣 forget new films/TV shows. A new video by you is what I always look forward to! Epic playthrough! 😁
I've enjoyed watching your playthroughs, though I am a few months late. Your reactions wholly express what I felt when I first played the game. This particular episode was a rollercoaster ride with the scriptorium scene. It's not real, but I sympathized with Ominis while suddenly becoming more wary of Sebastian. You have to mean it when you use one of the unforgivable curses, which means Sebastian had wanted to cause our player pain. If it were a real-life scenario, I don't think I'd fully trust him again.
I felt that too, Sebastien kept saying things that made me side eye him a bit
I need to say it, watching your play through has been an absolute delight thank you.
When you dropped the chest into the chiasm, I heard Gandolf bark "Miranda, you fool of a Tuck!".
Omg Miranda lol...u had me yelling at my tv during that boss fight...I was like watch the color of the orbs and use that color spell!!! 😆 also if you finish all of the Moon Quests with the Demiguise statues you will learn all 3 alohamora spells, also don't forget to upgrade your gear traits with concentration on each piece it stacks damage and this paired with the mastery in the talents and you will be hella strong.
I refreshed my page not expecting there to be anything new, and it was your video so the best possible thing I could watch, since I caved in and bought the deluxe edition of the game on Xbox yesterday 😅😂 I can’t wait to unlock my stuff later on
Just got home from work and this pops up!! Amazing timing, always appreciate your positivity
That accidentally hitting the animals then “the trust is gone” moment is one of the most funniest thing that happened. Had to replay it 5times hahahaha
The story is sooooo goooood!!
That little elf though... 😭
I think yours are the only RUclips videos I wait impatiently for and click as soon as I get the notification, even though it's usually 12 am in my country when you push them out 😅
I wait for these episodes every day Miranda !! You truly embody the the excitement and compassion to this universe ❤ I greatly appreciate it.
Your spider battles are the best!
And I love that you were all tough going in and then had fits like a normal person when actually confronted with giant freakin' spiders.
Honestly, I only started watching you to see the Hogwarts Legacy gameplay recently, but I love your videos. Your an awesome streamer to watch!
Her reaction to Back to the Future and her Miran-DeLorean comment sealed it for me.
These videos can't come quick enough to satiate my appetite!
Can't believe I'm almost done with your series already! I'm happy you uploaded 15 today to keep me watching!
I love watching these I just got the game for Christmas and love watching your videos when I’m in a similar area of the game!
Considering the time period this game takes place in, it is heavily theorized by fans that one of Ominis' older siblings, is Marvolo, the grandfather of Voldemort.
What an excellent finisher. You really did squash the Acromantula. A truly legendary finish.
Physics and logic take a backseat when it comes to magic.
That scream when you picked up the final journal entry will always send chills down my spine
I like watching you play this, you are underestimating your warrior spirit. Cannot wait for your next episode!
i loved that you went from saying you aren't scared of spiders to being scared of the spiders HAHA
I jumped on that one where it crawled right over her and bumped my knee on the table.
Has been so much fun watching your playthrough. Having to pace myself as I am finally getting to play the game again, so playing and then coming back to watch what I have already done. I am also waiting for my Switch copy to arrive in a couple weeks! Gonna do my dark playthrough on my Switch. Cant wait to do that.
I totally get your pain with the Herodiana Puzzles, I nearly had a complete meltdown, thinking I was trapped in there forever! Thank heavens for Google and RUclips!
It's so cool that u show us the kitchens. As I haven't seen players explore there before.
The kitchens is such a cool place.. love exploring all the little details in there :)
"this game can suck it" *in Sean Spencer tone* suck iiiiiiit! Such a funny moment XD Just another reason I'm always excited to see a new upload for this. Thanks for a great video and hope you feel better.
Can't believe you missed the acromantula jumpscare at the hole in the wall xD You were too busy setting that one spider on fire xD
I stumbled upon it in the dark forest way too early. Once I settled down and looked at the level my thoughts were: "I'll be back". Then when I returned it still out leveled me by a few - sneaky . . . .
@@terrylandess6072 I found my first one in one of the battle arenas xD I was so surprised, I just didn't think I would fight an Acromantula xD

I was happy that it was a 2 hour video 👍🏼
You did that last puzzle way easier than I did. I struggled with it for a while before completing it. And I too, had trouble with that big guardian’s one move, ugh.
The look on your face when Sebastian cast Crucio on you was priceless.

THE FINAL OUTFIT FOR THE SECOND TRIAL… IM IN LOVE WITH IT-
TheMirandalorian: "Very well. I don't want to learn the Cruciatus Curse."
Me: Crucio go BRRRRRR!
This episode brought back my fear of spiders with a fiery passion.
What did Isadora remove from his chest?
Rookwood: Pain.
Thank you, Captain Obvious. I was hoping you had a little more insight than that.
Rackham: Only we can see the traces of ancient magic.
You said they could all see what she put in the jar! What did she do with it?
Rookwood: Well, you should complete another trial. May I introduce-
If you were quidditch keepers, the other team would win while you told their chasers how to carry the quaffle properly!
When I did this quest I saw that acromantula crawl over that crack in the cave wall. Now i'm not particularly afraid of spiders, but seeing that made my skin crawl. I didn't even know whether acromantulas were going to be in the game until I saw that. Having to fight it was horrifying.
I saw it crawl over the cave opening an dipped, sorry not sorry deek.
@@matchamochi781 I can't even blame you. The regular spiders aren't too bad, but acromantulas are terrifying.

The way that was bothering me thank you soooo much didn’t even think of that🤦🏾♀️
I love this series!
At 13:21 the giant spider shows up in the hole and half climbs through it. Gave me the goosebumps and I almost ran out. I was looking forward to you seeing it but you missed it entirely 😂

Hi! I am back for my good vibes... Really enjoying these playthroughs.
Please don't stop this game when you finish the main story, it will be amazing if you can do 100% completion.
Also, I am really looking forward to bad vibes (not really "bad" though..) when you play the evil playthrough.
35:42, Hi Toby! Really been enjoying this series, it's been the first one i've watched from yourself Miranda, and I'm sure I shall enjoy many more!

I’m so intrigued watching you in this game I’m sorry when I have to wait for the next
Yes, Ominis can understand Parseltongue (language of snakes) like his ancestors and his descendant, Tom Marvolo Riddle.
It's actually good to have accio and levioso to keep them floating while they are on cool down, I usually levioso to make them float, attack some other ways which pushes back then accio to bring them close again and to keep them floating (because levioso hasn't refreshed yet)
The smile on your face at 34:47 when feeding the beasts 🥹
Can't wait!! (Edit: 31:35 and 32:57 xD I can't, they are too adorable...
54:30 and 1:02:08 love the reactions you had on this quest so much!
1:41:08 I can’t stop laughing. It happened to me as well, and I restarted my save file. So apparently you can control not only x and z axis while using Wingardium Leviosa, but also the y axis. You can see the specific key bindings in the settings.
1:14:01 and 1:21:33 there's just so many great moments in this video xD)
Just finished the story, 100% everything and platinumed the game, now that I know how it ends, I'm excited to see how you react to the end game. Looking forward to it.
I knew you were a fellow gemini when you said "it's so shiny" in the last episode 🤣
5:58 The Dark Lord's mother was a Gaunt. Merope Riddle (née Gaunt) (Summer/Autumn 1907 - 31 December 1926) was a British pure-blood witch, daughter of Marvolo Gaunt, sister of Morfin Gaunt, mother of Tom Riddle (later known as Lord Voldemort), and the paternal grandmother of Delphini.
Your love of outfit making is warranted, I spent 4 hours trying to make a wizard with African accents while staying true to ravenclaw. Its worth it when your vision is realized 😊
The teal outfit is amazing. I love the constant hair and outfit changes.
Toby was like nah bro I'm not watching this evil curse stuff bye😂
You Miranda is really quite lucky she was fighting that thornback scurrior it distracted her and made her miss the first appearance of the acromantula in that side corridor. You can briefly see it around 12:30 in the video just after she starts fighting the scurrior she runs down the corridor, turns around and runs back. For a fraction of a second you can see the Acromantula glowing red as it starts crawling across the gap at the end.
Miranda: "Pff, spooders... I'm not even scared"
*A few moments later*
Miranda: *regret*
Anyway, tip of the day: If you use Descendo on a matriarch spider (the bigger ones) when they are about to do their unblockable attack, you will do extra damage!
1:13:46
Floo Flame: You can’t imagine how inconvenient travel was before I invented Floo powder.
Me: You should also take credit for inventing the phrase “broken record”
The gasp I gasped when she accidentally attacked the beasts instead of feeding them😭
YOU NEED to focus on collecting the Glowing ORBS they Refill your Ancient Magic Meter and quickly Evaporate! and you don't seem to realize HOW Valuable they ARE!
The fact that she kept using the ancient magic on the little spiders and not the boss ones was hurting me😅😅
I'm a Hufflepuff but I learnt the Cruciatus curse but had it cast on me! I decided I wanted to have them unlocked but not use them at all! When Sebastian casted it on my character, I felt the pain and I felt awful for the rest of the day! I kept overthinking if I did the right thing or not as it definitely goes against my morals. After reading other peoples responses and saying they learnt them but didn't cast them, it helped relieve this weird feeling I was experiencing!
Hi, Thanks for wonderful video. I loved it. Stay safe.
I’m loving the series, just 100% my Gryffindor character and I’m going to turn evil as a Slytherin for my second play through, such an amazing game. ❤
Good job at the final battle. I think Pensieve Guardian is easier to beat than others. (1) It barely moves and does not chase you, its action is slow, I just need to dodge when I see the red circle warning; (2) When it is charging the orb, simply hit the orb with the same color spell to break the orb, it will give much greater damage than hitting it with spells 100 times. Other foes are more difficult to me, because they are too many together and chasing you so fast, it is really difficult to take care of every angle.
