they ask you to buckle up when going down. If a crash, they can identify you faster if you're in your assigned seat

They tell you to buckle up & put you head down so that your body does not disintegrate & it’s easy to identify if you die in the crash
Actually it's to protect your neck and head by being in a bracing position

I think it's not a good idea to react to the OLD Trevor stuff, his comedy was specifically targeted to SA audience. You missed A LOT of the jokes because of not having context from a SAn perspective, but shout out for the support💪

@@SbuAfrica Not if you've been following Trevor Noah for a length of time. He's taught me so much about his country that none of the jokes were lost on me. He doesn't just tell a joke, he gives context, so over the years and by paying attention to what's happening around the world through other means, it's very easy to appreciate all his jokes.

Y'all dn't seem to get the most of this clip. This is probably because this particular show was staged in South Africa and is filled with nuances that mostly those familiar with South Africa's cultural diversity can really appreciate; the accents expressed are a reflection of the races and subcultures and the uninitiated won't get some of the jokes, like the bit on St Peter; St Peter is portrayed as black man to the shock of the white woman... This was one of his best shows because he gives a tour of SA in a unique way
I've learnt a lot about South Africa from following Trevor Noah. None of the jokes went amiss. Heck, I've learnt a lot about other countries he's visited by listening to him. It's so easy to learn stuff when it's presented by intelligent, funny people.

Us in South Africa understanding that a typical person (whites especially) would be shocked to find a black St Peter and a Black Jesus to be at authority to decide their fate in heaven.
