Nick Guillard who made the choreography for all the saber duels in the prequel trilogy of star wars said the choreography in Oldboy is the best he has ever seen.
saw it for the first time in theaters this year and wow, what a crazy ride. My dumb vfx brain couldn't help but stare at the knife tracked onto his back the whole fight though lmao
"OLDBOY" IS THE BEST ACTION-PACKED SEQUEL TO THE WORST K-MOVIE CALLED "SYMPATHY FOR MR. VENGEANCE" ALONGSIDE "LADY VENGEANCE" WAS ALSO THE BEST THIRD INSTALLMENT OF THE "VENGEANCE" TRILOGY & THE INSANELY EPIC HALLWAY FIGHT SCENE IS BRUTALLY CLASSIC! 🔫🔪🎬😉👌
@@RandalReidyou must be an a.i. troll so of course you getting blocked. but to teach you a free lesson, director park said he hasn’t seen any of the homages of his scene in other films 🙈🙈🙈
This movie and scene are perhaps the most overrated in the history of cinema. The plot is incoherent, the villain’s motivations are dumb, the characters behave erratically just for the sake of being shocking/edgy, there are far too many long drawn out silent scenes which are obviously just there to try and build tension and leave the viewer guessing but it gets old fast, its slow and boring. Combine all this with it’s artsy/gloomy aesthetic and it just comes off as super pretentious.
So fun replicating this scene in Sifu
Just thought about it
one of the greatest films of all time with the best plot twist in cinema history
This is my favorite movie ever lol. Revenge trilogy is awesome and a must watch!

"one" of the best. Daredevils end of season finale fight scene is right up there with this.
People dont mention the villainess enough. The first person hall way fight scene was a great homage too. Geez people.
Iconic ❤
4:51 'Since Oldboy, Park has moved away from vengeance'
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance exists...
One of the best movies ever made
now we need the director react to homages of his hallway fight scene
So glad Sifu was inspired by this scene it’s so unique
Deadpool and Wolverine fight scene against the “Deadpool Corps” checking in.
Gareth Evans the Raid 1 and 2 the great fight scenes are in those movie
ive never had a cinema full of people stand up and applaud until those films. Literally happened with the ending fight in both films
Pretty much "the beatles" of cinematic fight scenes.
Is this what Daredevil was inspired by?
Respectfully, yes. 🙏🏽
And The Raid
while it was awesome scene, its a bold statement to say its THE BEST in history
Woah!
Is this ign commenting on a movie commentary?
