Awesome video and glad to see there's now somewhat decent public transportation from IAD to DC. Makes life easier for us Int'l folks coming in from across the pond who can't make use of National airport for obvious reasons 😅

Dulles will start another construction project where United will get a new concourse building. I hope that not only will this mean the teardown of current C/D, but I also hope that this will eliminate United's need to use Concourses A and Z, which United currently uses for a select few overflow flights. I also hope that a big proportion of the future gates will handle intl arrivals, perhaps that can reduce the need to tow planes from gate to gate

Would love to see more airport-adjacent transit content - but not at the expense of flight content! Also, living in Boston, speeds above 20mph on all except the Blue line are unheard of 😬

Northern VA isn't that bad lol. Just need a car to go anywhere.

Indeed, but as someone from Maryland I am compelled to throw shade!

24p with high shutter speed for a travelog? Just say no. Maybe I am tired after staring into a screen for a whole day, but I could not watch this, so closed this video midway.

That's a fair criticism, this was on a work trip so was shot onehanded on an iphone 13pro while carrying luggage. I didn't have my usual gear. It was shot at 4k60 on auto settings, then rendered in 1080 30. So if you don't like the aperture...take it up with "Tim Apple."

@@Travelog This video is at 24 fps, not even 30, why? Are you trying to achieve film look with an iPhone? It does not work, as 60 sharp frames are converted into 24 barely blurred frames. This causes both stutter (not enough frames) and judder (irregular motion). If you want to shoot cinematic videos, you need to shoot native 24p with more blur, which means you need to use an ND filter and decrease shutter speed. This is not "Tim Apple's" fault, this is how cameras work. Jeb brooks uploads at 60p, which has 150% more frames than 24, so it looks much smoother and less straining for eyes even with fast shutter speed.
