You should be using rubber grommets where you drilled the hole and ran the wire through the wheel well. Otherwise the coating will rub off on this sharp edges of the hole you drilled. Avoids electrical shorting and potential fire.
Send me a link to the grommets there zipped tied inside so body shouldn’t be moving them around unless we attached them to a spot that moves but hey to be safe I’ll add them in the lights disconnect easily lol u have a link to them

If your using the factory harness and not a switch panel like me in this video then yes ur good then just route ur switch into the cab
