A trip to IKEA might provide some packaging ideas for the unboxed sets as I am sure that they offer some nice solutions. It may even be a thought to group together for resale as special vintage Fire, Construction, etc. The IKEA visit could also create a video or two looking at products for this purpose and also as display solutions for LEGO. Finish up with a trip to the food hall or the hot dog stand. Fingers crossed for good sales. Thank you.
Thanks for the comments. It may be a while until i get to sorting through those vintage sets as I have so many shows coming up this autumn. Not a big fan of Ikea, Although i know they are good for boxes etc.
Well done Ian . There’s some organisation going on there!! You’ve got some great sets to sell on your next adventure at a Brick Event. Thanks for taking the time to make these fantastic videos 👍 Matt from Dorset
Some cool sets you got there:). I recently sold an opened scooby doo team pack for €30, so that could be worth quite a bit in sealed condition. I do wonder about your profit margins on your total haul. If you paid £2500 for everything, and you also have to pay for trader tickets to get in event halls, was is worth it then? I assume it is, otherwise you wouldn't do it 😂. I occasionally buy a used lot and it takes so much time to sort it all out, no wonder people prefer sealed sets 😅
There is still definitely some profit to be made even after the price I paid, but it's not going to be as much as a set, say that I purchased myself from retail. Good thing is I can sell these sets straight away, which means I can hang onto my other purchases have in storage a bit longer
Iain a BIG question are you interested or planning on going to the cardiff brick festival as it is in a large arena for context it where the foo fighters have played before and yea! Would be lovely to see you bit it is a bit far.. And its in october!!! Thanks iain!!
Unfortunately I won't be in Cardiff on 19th October as I will be at the Isle of Wight Comic con that day. As things stand, I won't be at Plymouth or Southampton either (Brick Festivals are very difficult to get into these days) but I'm still hoping there may be some late availability traders tables for Southampton in December
You must have cornered the market on Dimensions sets by now. I had that set 6624 Delivery Van when I was a kid. I think that set was one of the first with those panel pieces, at least I don’t remember having them in any sets before.
Hi Karsten. I'm afraid I wonbe at Swindon and I don't do mail order I'm afraid. My next show is at the Leicester Brick Festival on 29th September and then at Oxford National Brick Event on 12th October
@@iainsbricks ah I'm in Shepton Mallet so won't make those ones. I met you once at Weston super mare. Could I email you with the bits that I'm interested in?

Great haul! The little LEGOLAND sets were so fun to build. And it didn't take half the day to build them lol
Yes, the sets are very small compared to some of today's big sets
Great effort over these 3 videos - really enjoyed them - thank you
Thanks for watching them all. There was quite a lot of stuff to unbox!
K9 was always my favourite. Think I might have a look for that set now. Thanks Iain
Not a bad little build for K-9 either.

Lego and a free picnic set!
Lot's of Lego
Loved all 3 videos on this haul. I wish you good luck and making a big profit on reselling.
Thanks William. It will take a while to sell everything but hopefully I willbe able to make a reasonable profit
Any chance you can show all the sets from the 3 videos at once? It might make a good youtube short!
Not really I'm afraid. I've already stored the sets away now.

Hi Barry - yes, I have a lot of Dimensions sets now.
I think you are right about that delivery van piece being new that year.
Where will you be next? Im going to Steam in Swindon wondered if you'd be there? Im interested in some of the bits that you got. Do you do mail order?

Maybe you could reserve them for me?
@@Karsten-T I would only be able to reserve something if I knew you were going to be able to make it to an upcoming show that I will be attending.
i think you are set for dimensions for sure
Yes, I think I have enough forthe time being.
Hi we’re do you buy there from please
From an auction house. There are quite a few of them in the UK

It's an auctioneer based in the UK. I use a number if different companies which can be found on the Internet.
Good vids, but no spacey music and nearly 2 hours in total!!
No, just me talking and going through my haul.
Weird how you replied to every comment but mine on your last upload but ok never mind.
Hi. I do try to reply to all comments but must have missed yours somehow.
Sometimes RUclips filters comments, so that the poster can see them, but no-one else can
