Namjoon also said "the song revealed just how tough it was to be young in this day and age. This song is actually pretty deep, it's about how most of youth lost hope in the future and hence prefer living a happy life in the present which leads to overusing / 'wasting' money. Even though it seems like they're criticising the youth, they're not. They're criticising how the world has come to revolve around money and how most of the youth have come to a point where they lost hope in everything because of that. It's a song which is relatable for people from all around the world :')

I didn't think it was possible to like BTS's music more, then I watched "RUN BTS, IN THE SOOP, THE RISE OF BANGTAN (fan made) BON VOYAGE, ROOKIE KING" & even "AMERICAN HUSTLE LIFE!(the first couple of episodes of it are cringe to watch but it will make you appreciatesome stuff they went through. Coolio is not so cool.)"
The music means so much more to me now, because I know them so much better!
I am not a delusional fan who thinks I am friends with them or that we will ever hang out, just that they really show their unique & wonderful selves in those shows. I know more about them than I do some of my actual friends. And they are all, all 7 of them, wonderful people! They are thoughtful, creative, , talented, hardworking, silly, funny as heck and very human. When you get to know someone, the art they create has so many more layers to appriciate & enjoy.

It was for Halloween. They used to do a spoof of one of their songs every year, just for fun! For their fans’ sake, they know how to laugh at themselves, which is one of their chief appeals, besides their music and general charisma.

Yes, they were doing rock, paper, scissor to determine who had to be Snow White and wear the dress (yes, it was Taehyung). This dance practice is so chaotic because those slippers made it hard for them to so the choreography. If you pay attention, you can see them slipping all over the place. I think it the behind the scenes footage, they kept loosing the shoes during the practice as well. This was also the first time I noticed that V tosses the apple in the air and catches it at 09:38 and 09:45. The little toy that shot money that J-hope used at the end was actually a gift given to them at a fan meeting the J-hope loved.
There are a couple of BTS songs I liked better once I saw the dance practice/choreography, like Attack on Bangtan. And quite a few that I liked more after seeing them performed live (like Truth Untold, Magic Shop, Jump).
All the dance practices are great - I’m especially looking forward to you seeing the Halloween dance practices, they’re so much fun!

They are the best. Their Off Stage personality is totally different from their On Stage Personality! Their duality is Insane!
Namjoon was the most awesome duality I've ever seen. He's so put together and suave normally, then he's so frazzled and klutzy in 'In the Soop' and in their reality shows.
I love how Jimin and V changed their tones in this song , they sounded soooo different and they were so relaxed with it , and that's shows how versatile they're as singers 👍

Hi there! For older content, they didn’t have english captions, so you would need to look for videos with english translations (I highly recommend Bangtan Subs!). They only started adding subs around 2020 😊 I enjoy your reaction lots, I hope you are too as you delve deeper into their content!!
O-ish - there in no music in Bangtan Subs video anymore - but there is two videos one has the R-P-S with translations but when the song starts the voice cuts and the other has all the silliness between the R-P-S and the real filming - except when they do modifications to the choreo with the music and the music is again cut off.. :=(

Here’s the thing with the 2019 MMAs you need to see all the songs separately so when you see it all together it will be better. Persona (RM) is first the Boy in Love followed by Boy with Love (you’ve seen this one) Mikrokosmos and Dionysus. It’s about 40 minutes long or so and it needs to be seen all together like god intended 😉 this was great! Go-Go is a cool song 💜💜💜

kai bai bo or scissors, paper, rock. its a traditional way to settle differences in Korea. different regions have different ways to play, you saw two different styles in that clip, the song and a very fast version. there are other styles, like where they stand back to back with their hands over their heads. very fun and one of my favourite things to watch them do!!

GoGo is such a fun song, in contrast with the heavily sarcastic lyrics criticizing young people that live by "YOLO". Young people spending all their money and a bit more to just enjoy the moment and not care about the future at all.

Listening to BTS songs always feels like your going through a diverse musical adventure. So much is happening musically, the rap line’s flow is on point and the vocal line sounds heavenly as well
BTS have a lot of songs that the sounds kinda contrasted with the lyrics. like, they have songs that sounds like a sexy baby-making music but it actually pretty dark. then you have songs like this one and Dionysus where on the surface, it seems like a song about fun and party but it actually is deeper than that
I truly believe that rock, paper, scissors has guided most of BTS' career.
Gotta love the commitment -- they looked at 7 dwarves and 7 members and went "NO, SOMEONE MUST BE SNOW WHITE!!!" The chaotic energy is just ::chef's kiss::
I'm glad you guys found this one. GO GO is usually at the top of every ARMY list of favs. It's one of those songs that they get to let loose on.
A little backstory on the practice....Rock, paper, scissors is played in Korea NY young and old to decided a lot of things. In this case, who was going to be Snow White, obviously. What you may not know is that they did that FOR V. You see what you don't know is that this time in their career Taehyung had just lost his grandmother. She was so proud of him. Unfortunately, all she wanted was to see her grandson on TV, winning an award. They won their first award for "I Need You" came couple of months shy.
V was in a pretty bad way, so the guys wanted to cheer him up... and they thought V would get a kick out of seeing someone else being Snow White. Didn't quite work out that way. That's why V looks so down in the video... but by the end V was a little better.
Here's the funny point to me, I think V won the R.P.S. match. If you watch the practice again, u will see that not only did V win, but the others lifted his mood. Where the others had to wear the "drawf" costumes with big slippers. All V had to put on was a dress over his clothes...so he was still comfortable. Not to mention he never had to change his shoes...which in this case proved a little more difficult for them in the long term. This practice and song is always at the top of ARMY'S list for being one of their favs.
Also gentlemen, BTS and Big Hit have great senses of humor. And the guys have some B side tracks that are really amazing...like "21st Century Girl", or "Am I Wrong," also "Boys with Fun." And so many other B sides that shouldn't be ignored. But a lot of these songs do have practices to them. The ones you should check out are their "Bangtan Bombs." Every ARMY have watched these over and over. A "Bangtan Bomb," for the lack of a better words, are out-takes or screw ups the guys have done over the years that was just to good not to post. There are a few that every ARMY loves. And remember when you looks these up, and you will....remember to put "Bangtan Bomb" along with the title of what your looking for.....there are quite a few of them. So try these:
1. War of Hormone
2. Just One Day (keep an eye on V in this one.)
3. It's Tricky (and yes it is the Run DMC song.) This one is a can't miss, should also look up the full preformance for it as well...
I am sorry this post was so long, but wanted to give you some info on what was happening. And you even said that u wished they had captions. Please bare in mind not all of them do have captions. Even though they try and hit everything, in the beginning they believed that their fanbase was just in Korea...they learned and adjusted quickly to accommodate for all of us to understand, ARMY helped a lot with this as well. And trust me when I tell you, you get to see their personalities in the Bangtan Bombs... I hoped this post, as long winded as it is, help with some understanding of the guys. They have such a strong sense of brotherhood.

Rock Paper Scissors in Korean is actually said in the order of 'Scissors Rock Paper'. In Korean it's pronounced like 'Kawi Bawi Bo' and you show your hand when you say Bo :)
If you watch again look at 3:50, Jimin also gets a good glimpse of V in the snow white dress and starts cracking up.

The guys use rock/paper/scissors for everything that needs a decision made. One of them (“I don’t know their name” ~ Army will understand reference) said it was one of the few “fair” ways to settle things as it is completely random. Go Go is actually a really deep and kind of depressing song about the hopeless financial situation the younger generation are in to the extent that they've essentially given up trying to invest in their own futures. when they had the press conference for this album, they shared the true meaning behind this song which IS very BTS lol. Every album they have what they call a "socially conscious" song where they give commentary on something they have observed or felt strongly about. They explained that GoGo was that for Love Yourself: Her; it’s a very sarcastic take on the mindset youth have on the value of money. All we want to do is squander our money when we have it and to party, all while excusing our behaviour by saying that we only live once. Since learning that, Go Go has been one of my favourite songs from them!

Rock paper scissors is a very important part of BTS.
Literally all disputes are solved through it. And they take it very seriously.
If you see everyone wearing Puma, that means they were brand ambassadors at the time. BTS don't show off brands willy nilly haha. They are now global ambassadors of Louis Vuitton and Samsung.
This is definitely one of their easier dance choreographies, but they still make it look cool
This song was done w/ different outfits. I love all of the performances. The real moves show up better when they’re wearing regular clothes.

I love it when BTS members wear dresses. It just shows how they're so confident in their masculinity that they can wear anything and not be fazed. Jin's treadmill run in a sexy red Chinese dress is so OMG. But Yoonji is my first love!

They always do anything to make Army smile... Really.. The Best 7 boys ever.. They always show their true personality to fans and it makes them so special. most of artists are afraid to show their true side. But not BTS. I fell in love with them because of that. They always show their real face in front of the camera.

BTS and rock, paper, scissors, classic combo. Go go is so fun and the choreo just elevates it but really, the depth and truth of their commentary of the reality that a lot of young people growing up today feel like there's no point to being responsible with their money, so they just live paycheck to paycheck squandering it all every weekend. Fun bop with stealth truth bombs hidden within cute choreo.
