I thought the comparisons were supposed to be good, like people saying they like the bands they’re comparing them to and like that they were inspired by them while still being their own thing. They probably take inspiration from some big folk punk artists like Ramshackle Glory and Defiance, Ohio specifically but those bands are amazing and AOTS are still their own thing despite inspirations so I love them
