Thanks for these videos on the isolation problem. This just happened to me and I’m trying to see if I can let it dry some and see if I can drive her home. There’s no other videos on this anywhere and you explain it excellently. Thank you.
Thanks, this is very helpful as My RX400h has exactly the same problem and I have to keep disconnecting the 12v battery to clear the fault warning and start the car. Took it to Lexus who effectively said the car is a write-off because as well as fixing the leak it will need a new hybrid battery and controller. When you fixed the leak, did the battery dry-out and the VSC / check hybrid warning stop appearing?
I think you've hit subscribe too!! 🥳🥳 Thank you if you have and thank you for your comment (please subscribe if you're not subscribed already 🥳🥳) To fix this issue follow my other video about this vsc/battery problem I'll put a link at the bottom of this reply for you. The best thing about this issue is that you can do this yourself, it'll take a bit of time and effort but it'll save your car and it's a great car so save it 💪 You'll need to stop the water coming in as I've shown in this video and follow the steps in the video linked below and then you'll be sorted 👌👌 just stopping the leak won't dry out the water that is currently surrounding your hybrid battery and it's that water which is tripping a safety mechanism and brings up the fault. ruclips.net/video/6iFUEuKP-kY/видео.html
Same issue with my 2008 , water where you say. Going to open the boot next. Once you dried it out did the warning disappear ? An auto electrician says it's my battery relay 100% ???? Cheers Allan
Yes with mine 100% once it was dried or even almost dried out, removing the error code (disconnecting and reconnecting the battery if you don't have a machine to remove the code) the fault has never come back. It was definitely caused by water detected in the electrics however I'm not a professional at this so all I'd say is try my fix, getting rid of the water will always be a good thing 🤝👍
@@ColdStream just opened the boot covers and yes it was full of water 😔 , I've removed the plugs and cable tied the lead up, let's see, fingers crossed 🤞
@allankelly6980 yeah water problems, after this you'll want to protect the underside of your car from rust for the future, that part I don't know how to do 🫠
For those I've helped 🤝 if you want to buy me a coffee 🥳🥳 use the SUPER THANKS🎉it's the heart dollar icon 🤝

Mine's an 2006 reg so I suppose pretty old, but yes, terrible leaking and dangerous with the electrics@@ColdStream
