Joe Frazier - Was an American professional boxer who competed from 1965 to 1981. Widely regarded as one of the greatest Heavyweight boxers of his generation, he was known for his strength, durability, formidable left hand, and relentless pressure fighting style and was the first boxer to defeat Muhammad Ali. Frazier reigned as the undisputed Heavyweight champion from 1970 to 1973 and as an amateur won a gold medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics. Frazier emerged as the top contender in the late 1960s, becoming undisputed Heavyweight champion in 1970. In 1971, he defeated Ali by unanimous decision in the highly anticipated Fight of the Century. Two years later, Frazier lost his title to George Foreman. Frazier's last world title challenge came in 1975, but he was beaten by Ali in the brutal rubber match, the Thrilla in Manila. Frazier retired in 1976 after a second loss to Foreman but made a comeback in 1981, before retiring for good with a record of 32 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw. The Ring magazine named him Fighter of the Year in 1967, 1970, and 1971, and the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) named him Fighter of the Year in 1969, 1971, and 1975. In 1999, The Ring ranked him the eighth greatest Heavyweight.

Highlights Knockouts Tribute
------------------------------------------------
haNZAgod
He was the real fighter that ran up the Philadelphia steps not Rocky, it's the wrong statue that stands there, it should be smokin Joe not Balboa
I agree with you. But let's not forget that the rocky series was stolen from the life of chuck wepner. I think people confuse the rocky character with joe frazier or rocky Marciano, but it was made after chuck wepner. I've seen the documentary it's interesting to say the least lol.
be cool Yes it was made based off chuck Werner in some certain cases. But the way Balboa fights is based off Marciano and Frazier and the place where Frazier used to live Southern Philadelphia he used to run up those steps himself not Werner but him. Wepner ran around in a park unlike Frazier.
rocky was southpaw same as frazier, worked the abattoir, same as frazier, ran the steps same as frazier, and was too small and won everything in heart like frazier, apolo creed was the fast mouthed athletic pro.....Ali...... however wepner fought a wrestler as rocky did thunderlips, he won a lawsuit for millions based on it, stalone took bits of them all to make his picture, but make no mistake frazier had a huge influence over the old Italian stallion
r.i.p smoking joe, you will always be the best ever in my house
Rocky is white, so no contest.
@@muaythairaja joe frazier was a real man, Rocky is a fictional character, shouldn't even be a discussion, frazier was and still is the man In my house, fuck me we may aswell start erecting statues of batman next......
They don't make 'em like Smokin' Joe anymore. He would've died in that ring before he gave up. "Relentless" describes him most.
I was 8 I think when he and Ali came here for the rubber match. The streets were empty. Ghost town. Not a soul in sight because everyone was glued to the TV. We were all Muhammad Ali fans, but you can't help but admire this relatively little guy who came forward while taking loads of punishment.
True legend. great tribute, haNZAgod.
1 of the best heavyweights ever if u dont rate joe frazier then u dont kno boxing, period. only lost to foreman and ali.
Raoul Akhtar agreed he was literally running down everybody
And he also beat Ali aswell
he beat prime ali, ali took advantage of joes ko loss and jumped on top of that. then ali turned it around and tried to say he wasn’t right in the first fight and the first fight shouldn’t count. i call bs we saw prime form out of both and ali got spanked
Awesome job man. Nailed it!
Of course he was a great fighter 1 of all time greats Joe ✊
What a legend! Rest in peace champ. One of the deadliest left hooks of all time. Great video, great music, good work hanza!
Amazing tribute my friend
Keep them coming!
Incredible fighter
Joe was a machine , stamina for days, recopproprative powers, chin, great punch, quick. Reflexes. He may of had his disadvantages, but rose through them with modesty.
His heart was the greatest thing about smoking Joe. He could street fight too. Ali found Frazier a harder fight than most he fought
He knew this man would take him deep you into deep waters, and wouldnt go down. Thats why Joe Frazier was one of the greatest
Twice the man ali was he would have beat him in the thrilla if he would have carried on he also said he would have fought him to the death in that fight if needs be a true warrior, ali should have given him the respect he deserved instead of belittling him.
Futch did the right thing stopping that fight. Joe could hardly see and Ali hit him with everything but the kitchen sink in the 14th round, it was and still is hard to watch. Joe had a family, a wife. Plus Futch himself like everyone else probably loved Joe, wasn't going to sit there and see him punched to death in the 15th.
When you talk about a game fighter, when you talk about someone whos utterly unrelenting, that's smokin' joe frazier
That left hook!!!!
He didn't ko you he beat you into submission
great video to a great champ !
Thanks.
What is the soundtrack name ?
Zack Hemsey - See What I've Become
thanks !
Quite sad what happened to smoking joe after boxing
Joe Frazier had the best left hook of all time. He wasn't a puncher but a destructive.
No fighter in boxing history had more heart.
No disrespect to Joe, but Marciano takes the cake on that end.
@@quaygrass6212 and Arturo gatti
@@quaygrass6212 Very true, Frazier at a close second.
@@quaygrass6212 No. Marciano fought bums and old men. Joe fought champions.
@@saurabhm383 Joe Louis aint no bum!
my favourite fighter of all time, no one even comes close...
he inspired me a lot when I was a young man looking for inspiration.
To me the most amazing thing he ever did in his career, and what I think is more impressive than anything is the way he fought foreman. He just kept getting knocked down by a man who would annihilate his opponents and Joe REFUSED to stay down...
No one in history would've gotten up that many times from punches like those..
Joe truly was one of a kind..
Not to mention he became heavyweight champion of the world with ONE working eye!
Nowadays fighters complain if they get sweat in their eyes haha.
Nice video my man!
+AntonTheTrainer He'll definitely always remain as a true legend of the sport in my eyes. Glad you like the tribute!
+AntonTheTrainer I don't know if you can really say he put up much of a fight against Foreman but yes he showed a lot of heart getting up all those times. That's the mark of a true warrior and champion, like Joe.
I never said he did, he was perfect for Foreman and in very very few scenarios can I ever see him winning against Foreman.
The whole statement I made was about him having the heart that he did.
He just got up and went right in there, again and again and again. No one but Joe Frazier would've been able to do that.
+haNZAgod Ey nice tribute. But I've noticed, some of your recent videos are remakes of old ones. Is it because you feel these ones are better, or because you feel your older ones are outdated? Or maybe both? Either way solid tribute vid, really captured Frazier's left hook and some of his bob/weave defense , too.
+haNZAgod do you have Arturo Gatti?
One of the mightiest warriors to ever walk the earth. My favorite boxer of all time: Smokin' Joe Frazier.
a big mouth dont makes jou a boxer,RIP JOE, whit Lennox,i think the best allround boxers,i dont see all fights of all amarikan boxers, but still
Joe was a great champ in his own right, yet they only mention him with Ali. Joe was a tank with a left hook that destroyed his competition. Glennis
a boxer in hart and kidnys,whe say,Netherlands
You know you’re dealing with something different fighting Frazier. Probably the most relentless boxer in history with the combination of power, stamina and pressure that made him nearly unbeatable at one point.
He definitely had that Marciano type of resilience. The man was an absolute power house.
Speed too
@@becool5706 marciano would go down
@@saurabhm383 stop. Lol
@@motorcitycobra8875 facts
Big left hook, bigger heart.
Agreed, his most dangerous weapon was his heart
a real boxer
Left hand nearer to HEART
@@naveennavi-pl5kx true
Nobody had more heart. Between Joe and Ali, two of the greatest warriors.
The best left hook ever, wielded by one of the hardest men in history.
An absolute nightmare for ali. This mans only had 40% vision in one eye and a bad arm which he managed to turn into a wrecking ball. Joe was s dreadnaught wow! Just such a beautiful man and warrior. RIP Joe
When he was loosing the fight it didn't matter because all it took was one left hook & it was nite nite time.
In his youthful prime he was the greatest example of a pressure fighter the heavyweight division has ever produced ....stunning man and fighter !!
Absolutely
I'm surprised that I didn't find this great tribute earlier since Joe is my favourite fighter of all time, thank you for this amazing tribute that Fraizer deserves, in my book he is the toughest boxer of all time, and also underrated since he was in the shadow of Muhammad Ali, rip Joe, my role model.
He's like a lumberjack. Just keeps chopping with those hooks untill whatever's in front of him falls down. Guts and determination. Smoking Joe.
the lumberjack was Peter Aerts k1 Netherlands,Joe my favoriete fearles boxer, the bigger they came the harder they go down RIP JOE
Fun fact: He was a Lumberjack when he was young. Him and his father cutting big trees with a 2 man saw
@@CocaineCowboyJones Wow! I didn't know that, lucky guess I suppose. That is a fun fact, thanks for that.
In the boxing world when someone is called a fighter I find it an insult....Smokin joe was a warrior. Frazier’s left hand is devastating...if the left hook to the body didn’t put u down the left hook to the chin certainly will.
For me frazier won the 2nd fight too
@NAATH KABOOTREE so go fuck yourself that's what
Biggest heart ever
Whoever dislikes Frazier should seriously check himself.
Never forget he fought all of his career with one eye
And a permanently damaged left arm that he can never extend fully. Imagine becoming world champ with all of that handicap, right? Legendary.
CRIMINALLY underrated All-Time champion.
Ali harrassed him so much because he felt threatened by Frazier because he was that damn good.
Exactly, Frazier was the only fighter Ali was afraid of.
@@shriharihudli No. Ali later on in his life admitted he was terrified of Liston, not to take anything away from Ali, he whipped sonny with speed and technique.
R.I.P champ.Your fan from Ukraine. You can beat Ali once more in Heaven.
Wicked good! I'm better for having seen it. I heard a boxer say "getting hit by Joe was like sticking your finger in an electrical socket". Brilliant mix.
Frazier would clean out the Cruiserweight division today
Totally just clean it out✓
Frazier was too big for the cruiserweight division
@@jacobh7188 I thought Frazier was about 200-205 lbs at first. I did some research about Frazier's body weight and he was actually close to 230. Wow, he weighed more than 6'6 Deontay Wilder at 5'11 and weighs close to 6'6 Anthony Joshua
Frazier was an machine in the ring. He never backed up or stopped coming forward with that signature bob and weave. 75% of his offense was his extremely versatile left hook. He suffocated his opponents with pressure and relentlessly chopped them down on the inside. He could also spring out of a crouch with a left hook that caught so many fighters by surprise. Joe Frazier is one of my fistic idols. RIP Champ
Smoking Joe Frazier!!! When I think of the left hook I think of this man. Great video!
Greatest left hook in boxing ever
Only one name comes to mind when someone says left hook: Smokin' Joe Frazier.
A true old School Warrior, what you saw is what you got with Frazier and quality like that is hard to find these days, really sad that he and Ali had the bad blood just no need for it between two Legends like that.
Yeah. It's a shame. Despite Frazier being my biggest hero, he definitely had a lot to do with them never forgiving each other. Would have loved to see them in their final years getting along
@Legend of Awe Sheeet !!! no I totally agree. Ali did some shitty things, some of which he never truly apologized for(at least not to Joe directly) but towards the end, Frazier held on to the grudge. Hard to blame him but it would have been nice to see them legit come together.
One of the best, RIP.
Beside the fact that he was a great fighter, he was a great man. Great footwork.
Joe Frazier is a gladiator, he was the hardest worker, he never quit, he was always going to walk you down. He's one of the greatest men to ever lace them up.
Joe Frazier is the real rocky
G.O.A.T.....Enough Said!!!
In my humble opinion, Smokin Joe Frazier in his prime was probably the hardest man who ever lived
He was LEGIT FORCE to be reconded with. A REAL man
perfect music for perfect guy
Absolutely my all time fav boxer u showed case everything bout smokin
whit Lennox
The real people's champ . The working class choice .
A role model for the underdogs on all walks of life .
Goin' backwards , running from the fight was never an option for Frazier.
No , Joe would bring the fight to you !!!
Great, fantastic and immortal Joe Frazier!!! Respect forever!!!
best highlight/tribute I have ever seen for a boxer from anybody. R.I.P smokin Joe frazier
That left into quarry. The one when he was on the ropes, that would of floored a horse
Great vid Hanz
I think David Tua took this style from Joe Frazier-unorthodox style,i like this style e
Joe Frazier = No Fear
Spot on. People rarely wanted to fight Foreman in a rematch. To take a beating like he did in the first fight and still willing to try again. In his final years, an aged Joe Frazier said in an interview that he'd fight Foreman again if it was possible.
I cried when joe passed, my ex even called me having watching me fight she paid me the the best compliment,k you fight like him but you're youslesss?
I'll remember you forever...
El más grande entre los grandes, enorme corazón y tremenda dignidad hasta el final de su vida
Impresionante ese gancho de zurda
Absolute legend who never stayed down. Great tribute man!!
Top 5 Heavyweights of All Time in Boxing's History.
(Edited)
He would have KO'd top Heavies like Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis.
Holmes for sure, not sure about Lewis though.
Nobody and I mean nobody had a better left hook then Mr. Joe Frazier.
A great man RIP Joe God bless you 💖
great job ! this is the best joe frazier highlight from all the highlights i saw on youtube
Smokin Joe is a legend. 💯
He is the G.O.A.T
Frayzer super baksyordu 💪
The only words to describe this man is.... HOLY SHIT!
Another quality video mate! Beast of a left hook
Джо Великолепный!
amazing tribute!
Underrated.
By who? Frazier is regarded as one of the best Heavyweights by.. almost everyone.
haNZAgod I think most of people forget about frazier. They don' t remember how great was him.
I don't think so bud he's widely considered as one of the best Heavyweights.
Awesome channel. This is my new RUclips channel. My other channel got terminated. You are my favorite boxing channel.
Легенда
Blind in the left eye and with a crooked left arm that had limited range of motion. This man is a true legend and deserves to have a statue in Philadelphia.
Joe's greatness is that he was always ready to die in every fight, the current fighters fight for money, Joe fought for his name, for the house in which he grew up, for his mother, father, for a poor childhood, for the black population.
Frazier the winner of all 3 fights handsome man.
Angelo Dundee put it best when he described Joe Frazier as a "Dreadnaught"
Вечная память
The thtrilla in Manila is "LEGENDARY AND EPIC SUPER FIGHT"❤🤩
My favorite boxer and one of my favorite athletes of all time. Joe was a lion
