How can I avoid being told, "Depart from me, I never knew you" ? I know that we need to KNOW God. But, how will I know that I do? I feel like I am getting to know Him. I know He has given me something to think about, but what can I do to take the steps to have a real relationship with Him?? But thank you guys for this study! I will apply these tips. I do know that I gave my life to Him because one day, when my daughter was about 2 months old, I had something on my mind that was stressing me out, and I prayed to Jesus, actually, because I didn't know that we are actually supposed to pray to God through Jesus. Anyway, I opened up to Him. I talked to Him like He was another person sitting right there, and I believe He answered my prayer. Because the issue I had that was stressing me out, was resolved when someone came in and helped me with it, without me asking. That's what I prayed for, to get help, and I got it! He continued to answer my prayers, I believe, and that's when I decided to give my life to Him. So, I know that we need to talk to Him like we know Him. Maybe I should return to that.
