Ah sorry Sumeet 😬 I only just seen your comment! One of my favourite parts of India was the animals everywhere! It was an interesting sound that his instrument made though it was a great little concert he put on for us!
Awesome. I live in Nepal, spend a decent amount of time in India, you guys are showing great perspectives away from the stereotypical thinking. Keep it going.
Loved it. And the background track when you started off for the dunes from the fort was amazing 😎...it was so retro! I love to drive to remote Jungles of India but would someday do a troop like yours.
Jolie, download the app Travelspend from Playstore. It allows you to track your expenses by country. We are in Scotland, country 21 since leaving Australia. Love the comment about marmite..we ran out in Russia after 6 weeks. Love Rolanda and Mark
Not a great deal, better (marginal) fuel consumption, potentially less wear on components. The Troopy is pretty heavy so any better fuel economy is a plus for us.
Great video again but a burning question. Are you worried about calls of nature being interrupted? It’s the age old overland question - your wisdom on this would be such a RELIEF
Just curious: did Roopa stop to play for you simply as an act of kindness or was it in the hopes of getting paid by the tourists? Which has been more your experience?
Hey John :) our dear friend Roopa did come and see us in hopes of being paid (a small fee of 100 rupees), which of course we were happy to do as it was a very cool experience!
I just want to know how much money that musician asked for the performance?.....This is the sad thing in india, sometimes people just come and perform without consent and then ask for money.
Great video as usual. Camels, peacock, cow, dogs.... 💕🇮🇳💕
Roopa instrument is unusual.

Yep, the contrast in India has blown us away. Such an amazing country!

Is there an advantage to manually locking hubs?

You almost captured your friend in a terrible head on collision. He only just made it.
Two lanes (with a shoulder) actually means 3 lanes for most of Asia 😬
@@TheWayOverland Yeh, most of Africa and Asia have "interesting" ideas about traffic lol :)
Funny how you aussies love vegimite and us South Africans marmite
Haha yep can't live without it!
Go to northeast india and have besr experience
We did and we loved it! Check out episode 42! 👍🏼

He had our consent, we donated a small amount as he was friendly and put on a good show. Not sure where he came from though!
Would be very wary of stray dogs due to rabies in India
Fortunately we only saw one infected dog in India which was in Varansi and was not a very pleasant experience!
Generally local govts give vaccines to street dogs in India. At least in my city.
