I have 30 plus FX pedals, with each one being the only pedal I will ever need... It's a great story that has cost me several thousands of GBPs... I'm buying one more pedal, and I'm done, that pedal is the K.O.T, I'm five years in on the waiting list and counting...
This pedal is just too funny. Total irony explosion. Gonna have to pick one up for The Dehumanoids and see how it sounds in Zero's signal chain. If I'm doing a mix and it's sounding too pristine or hifi he always tells me "make it more unclean". If this doesn't blow his mind, nothing will... my money's on "nothing will" but it still makes me laugh. Intro demo sounded pretty dope by the way, especially considering you're probably not wasting your best riffs on gear demos, very nice. You got a band we can check out? Always looking to hear good new Australian shit. edit: you should probably reuse and release your best demo riffs down the road anyway, they're still pretty good.
Thanks for the kind words man! I used to save a lot of my “best riffs” and not use them in these videos, but the band I’m in (we are called Citizen Rat btw) dosent make this kind of music, and this is my only other creative output, so I’m a lot less picky about what I do and don’t use. And as you said, I would happily use one of these again down the line if I were to do any offical release.
@@strazburg Yeah dude, I actually felt bad implying that these riffs were B roll, I just made the assumption that you were probably in a band doing this sound. Since you're not, just using the stuff that inspires you makes sense and makes your demos that much better. Just dust them off when you either build a band for it, or decide to release some solo stuff, and you're good to go. Either way man, sounding sick. I should also say, your demos are helpful too. You and Noise Generator have the formula pretty sussed as far as showing gear off in a mix, then on various instruments, putting it through its paces in a short space of time; makes it way easier to know if something will do what you need it to, or if you'd be barking up the wrong tree. The time you put into geeking out over gear is much appreciated.
Another great vid. Could do with some more swearing but the outro saves it. Keep 'em coming. PS: Do you do demo's for local builders? I'm a very small pretty much non profit builder from Sydney and have a recent "K-hole Simulator" pedal build that does super wierd pitchbending delay sounds. It's a Mid-Fi Pitch Pirate clone. Would you maybe be interested in demo'ing it?

Dude you could just learn electronics and roll your own, possibly start your own business in that time frame lol
