Totally understand why people love the Apple Ecosystem. However I have just returned to Android again with the Pixel 7 Pro and more recently the s23 Ultra. Loving the flexibility with them. However I’m sure when the iPhone 15 Pro phones come out I will be looking at those. The great thing these days is that at Flagship level you can’t go far wrong as they are all excellent phones and I just love tech and will try them all eventually.

    Good video!
3 Reasons I don’t fancy the 14 Pro Max. 1. No Pause button in camera. 2. Not allowing Apple Pencil and 3. Absence of Split screen feature on its bigger screen. I have stuck to just the Pro range since iPhone 11 and currently on the 14.

The weight of the Pro took some getting used to but I like having the 3X camera for those rare occasions it might come in handy and the battery life as compared to the Mini is night and day

Currently using a pixel 7 and I think I'll probably stick with the pixels. I love their camera and the smoothness of their software. I generally only keep a phone for two years so long term support isn't a big deal. Battery life has been great for me too, which I'm thankful for. There's only a couple customization things I wish Google would add but other than that I love this phone.

You're in the A series for Samsung, the se for iPhone, and lower end chinese phones are generally crazy value but have half baked software and shit cameras. I really hope they don't raise the prices too much. The only phone I can see competing with them is the OnePlus 11 cuz that phone is crazy good for its price point.

I have an s22 ultra. It's sad cus I think the s23 is supposedly smooth with better animations, but the s22 ultra is just a smidge too janky when it comes to the animations. You feel like the polish and animations is worth the change? I'm not into pirating stuff or customizing much anymore. Just my wallpaper maybe. I'm assuming you'd advise me to just make the switch to iPhone? The s22 performs pretty much just like the s22u, so you made the switch from where I'm at now pretty much.

My pixel before that was even worse. My iPhones just work, better apps, and resale value that android can’t compare to. Even if you buy an s23 ultra today you can expect Samsung to discount it within a few months, you lose half the value the day after you buy it.

I still have my XS Max and it has been a fabulous phone. Not one problem since launch. But every year I look to see whether to go up or stick with it. I have the feeling 16 is the magic number. Samsung is starting to look more tempting with the S23. But I like things like satellite SOS and crash detection. The older I get dependability and safety and accessibility become the issues. I am not bored by IPhone but I am tempted by things like the longer zoom and scene description of the Samsung. As my vision gets worse, having the camera become a way to take a photo of something like a street sign and tell me what it says verbally or take a photo without needing to push the button. Those are the types of things that Samsung has that attracts me but iPhone is catching up on those things. The zoom is coming. But if they could get Siri to take a picture and give a description and silly things like that, I would never look at Samsung.

I am concerned about the way apple is now going they never change the style and only change software where experts like yourself notice. I am waiting for the new folds to come out to see weather they are now good enough to tempt me away from apple i also hear apple is increasing the price of the 15 models by quite a bit this year. The only things keeping my to apple is A) eco system and B) ease of use i guess I’m worried that i will get an android phone sell the iPhone and not get on with android systems plus apple phones do hold their value more its a tough one for sure

I tested a 14 Pro Max, and returned it for the IP Pro because it's lighter, more pocket friendly, and if I use it more than 8 hours per day (which is rare), I'm never far a quick recharge.

Do not capitulate to Apple's predatory business practices. If you are only considering buying an iPhone because people care about Green versus Blue bubbles, then they are not really worth being friends with. I have the same experience in my place of education. I told my cohorts I bought an S23 Ultra and they were baffled as to why I didn't buy an iPhone. They belittled the idea constantly. That was up until the moment they saw it... Yeah, out of the people who wanted to berate me for buying a Samsung, the nicest device they had was a regular 13. Two of them had 64GB iPhone 11s with cracked screens. One of them had a 2020 SE that was hanging on for dear life. Please don't base your purchasing decision on what other people think you should buy. I've had my S23 Ultra now long enough to say that it is superior to the average iPhone and trades punches as you'd expect with the iOS equivalents. Also, if its a watch you want, I have the Watch4 and there's nothing it is lacking that makes me want an apple watch. And yes, I've seen enough apple watches.

Great video. I had in past iPhone 4,5,6,11,12 and than I have switched to android world. I guess that iPhones are the best for video recordings which for your work is crucial. In my case videos are less important and more important are call history (on iPhones it is limited to last 100 calls), call recordings, fast wireless charging and photos. I've had Samsung S21 ultra, pixel 6 pro and now on Xiaomi 12. Now I am thinking about Xiaomi 13, Oppo Find x6 Pro, Honor Magic 5 Pro or Vivo X90 Pro+. I found that android phones are more features rich and more innovative. I got used to so badly to fast wireless charging that imagine slow charging on iPhones looks like a torture. You just charging the phone in the wron time, you don't need to wait until it's almost depleted, and you can charge it every night. There are a few downside for the fast charging, basically just an another trick in the Android manufacturers to buy a new phone more frequntly (if the limited amount of updates are not enough to force you to buy a new one, they are just make sure your battery will be ruined in a few years, at least 1-3 years faster like you normally can use that), battery biggest enemy is the heat, and fast charging generate more heat just to shorten the lifespan of the battery.
