I want this figure. Electric Blue Superman was from this JLA era, debuting in issue 5 or JLA Secret Files #1. Idk which came out first. I feel Batman's suit is debateable.
It blew my mind how articulated this fellow is. He is one of the best from the wave in my opinion but I really dont like he doesnt have a weapon holding hand. I only have this Aquaman and I have him on Storm but no way to hold the reigns
Yeah, the lack of accessory (or rein) holding hand is one of the only two drawbacks to this guy, the other being the painted scales. Otherwise, this Arthur is very solid
For accessories, a cable/rope for the hook or alternate firing hook hand would also have been nice to have, or even the mechanical hand he eventually gets to replace the hook. Still can't wait to get this for my JLA display!
I want this less as a 90's JLA aquaman and more of the Justice League cartoon Aquaman. I was even planning n making a custom before this was announced. It sucks that he can't hold a trident though.
I would like to do a headswap with the Lost Kingdom Hero Suit Aquaman, it's my favorite figure of Aquaman and the head from the JLA wave would be perfect
I'll get this aquaman to go with the batman from this wave. I can't wait to see your review on the batman to see how you feel about it. I think it's amazing how it can go as a comic suit or a movie suit from Keaton's 2 films and Kilmer's batman forever panther suit. I like the wave, but I'm not a plastic man fan, and I'm mostly interested in batman because of his look mcfarlane gave him and the things I said about it.
Yeah, I'm not sure who Mcfarlane does for packaging/research, but he has GOT to stop using artworks for characters that do not match the figure. There's plenty images of Blue Superman from JLA specifically (him fighting Asmodel comes to mind) that could've been used, yet they went with mullet Superman, who only had that look for the first 4 issues of the series.
He was defective and broke as I pulled him out of the package. I was faced with a choice between returning him and hoping I could get another one, or keep going and have fun with it. That video is when I really loosened up, and the channel hit its stride, so I kept him as the channel mascot
I wasn't planning on it, but I've had enough comments that I'm going to try to do at least a Short or maybe some Instagram pics. I only have like four or five Aquaman figures so I really don't have enough to stretch out a whole video, you know?
Right? I feel like that is why it's so haphazard. They know Plastic Man is the draw, when with all the reuse he could have just been a Collector Edition
Has anyone noticed that the First wave of this figure came out with a silver shoulder armor, and now if you go to get this figure the manufacturer has been producing this figure with black shoulder armor…….which means the silver shoulder armor version is more rare and harder find!

Would a leg swap with Lost Kingdom Aquaman work as a substitute for the scaled legs?
i love the Batman: Brave and the Bold version of Aquaman. John Dimagio is a awesome actor and was perfect for the king of the oceans.
Brave new world JLA is My Childhood line up, this looks amazing
Same!
Another great video!!
All I got is the long-haired Mattel version of basic Aquaman, and he's been perfect so far.
I could drink like a fish 🐟! That long hair and beard gots me hooked 🎣
This is my favorite version of aquaman too
the moment you get your hands on jada toys ken you will immediately look at long haired characters from other toy lines with contempt
That ankle pivot reminds me of Stephen King's Misery
Hahaha
"It's called hobbling."

*Is it weird that this is one I am most excited about in the wave!?*
Nope, in fact I feel the same way. But most of all I want plastic man

Could this version of jla Aquaman be a body for the crime syndicate sea king? This is pretty much the mold
I can't say what I think about it yet cause I haven't found it but it looks very good hopefully I can find it soon
For me is a pick. It gives me Total Justice vibe I really like that toy line one of the best of DC
Truth!

Will you review that Ted Kord Blue Beetle ? I love that figure
I did a mini review of him and Booster Gold in my Top 10 DC Multiverse of 22 video
How would this head look on the Endless Winter body?
I made a note of it for ya and will put it in an upcoming video for ya
@5POAFigureReviews Thanks! Could throw the Page Punchers one in too, if you want more bearded Arthur options.
What happened to your stealth iron man?

It looks cool but I probably won’t be getting. I’m not a completist and not familiar with this version.
Fair!
Will you be doing headswaps after you get them all

@@5POAFigureReviewsok gotcha 👍
I want the plastic man but nothing else😢😢
Can it headswap with endless winter?
Yes, though the skin tones don't match so you'll need to paint the neck
The wave for me is ok... not I must have, go out and get right now... BUT, the pull for me is Plastic Man...
Right? I feel like that is why it's so haphazard. They know Plastic Man is the draw, when with all the reuse he could have just been a Collector Edition
I'm glad there's not a nipple

Actually, the opposite is true. The black armor version is a Platinum Edition chase variant.
