I have just finished rewatching all your old winter trips!! This is great! Great to see and thanks for the continual encouragement to get on out there! From Scotland
I live the long hikes and beautiful views. However, the outdoor camping, cooking, hiking and full experience stuff is what many people like to watch. Some consistent videos like this one and your subs will take off. And the nice pics of the grub and presentation is also cool.
Beautiful country. Thanks fir sharing snd once again showing skills and mindset for the trek. I always love your food too! I need to learn more food planning from you 🙌🏻🦁
Glad to see you back! So jealous! I had a bunch of winter snowshoe trips planned for this winter and up and tore a tendon in my foot end of November. No hiking until May or June.... So I have to live vicariously through RUclips.....
Good to have you posting again this was in 2020 lots of snow. Vancouver Island is beautiful. Need some of Campbell River. I was missing TB until I saw it was 2020. Thank You during this Covid 19 I have watched your Vids a lot. Takes my mind off whats going on in the USA. Stay Safe.
It´s great to have you back, especially in this difficult year. Thank you for the awesome sequences showing you with the snow shoes in action. Almost difficult to record. 😉 🙋🏻♂️
Nice trip! I like it how you share your meals. Looks good and makes me want to cook something as well, even though I’m watching this in Singapore and there’s no snow in sight. Keep up those great adventures.
Another great video by you! Thanks so much! Winter camping is awesome! Still hoping to run into you someday in town or on one of our beautiful trails! 😉. Stay safe! 🙋🏻♀️😎
Hi....Love your videos...You film your surroundings beautifully and your walk away from camera shots must be the longest on RUclips :)...ATB and thank you
Very nice, amazing video. Food looked delicious! Thank you for the video and the crazy amount of extra steps for your videos as always. Do you ever miss Algonquin? :) Stay safe and warm out there.
Thanks! Ya I miss Algonquin Park a lot, I love it here on Vancouver Island BC, but I think of all the good times I've had in Algonquin Park fairly often.
Beautiful video! What a setting, and wonderfully shot! I love the 4k. Also, not being a jerk, just trying to save you the same pain I went thru. I have that exact same knife PLEASE PUT A SHEATH LOCK ON IT! . I cut the heck out of my thumb on an overnight trip in colorado. I had it lashed to the outside of my pack. As I was adjusting straps, I popped it out of that sheath RIGHT as my hand slid down. It lopped off about a decent piece of side of my thumb, which promptly starts GUSHING blood. Fortunately, a nice dude helped my get the bleeding stopped and taped up. I am having trouble watching the video seeing it , especially near your neck! The ex-eagle scout who patched me up showed me how his nice has a little snapping sheath lock. I no longer carry a fixed blade knife, but if I did, I'd rig up a sheath lock on it. Love the vids, watching your PCT Sobo hike as well, planning on doing that next year (2022)
Thanks Copper, I'll definitely make a sheath lock for my knife, anything to prevent an emergency in the backcountry. Wish you all the best on you PCT hike. Happy Trails
This could be 2021 and no one would know with all the snow storms I got 3 in on Thurs with most coming on Friday. Glad that Pink was smoked as it is one of the lousy tasting ones here but curious what the Springer was a small black mouth or silver. Did you get some snow or to close to the water.
@@HurlgoatHiker Yeah it looks amazing! I love your PCT videos btw. They are an in depth look at the trail, but this video looks like higher quality for some reason .
Hey hurl , I’m missing you. I hope you are ok. Wanted to send a message to let you know that your adventures are deeply missed by me and my family in Scotland. Hope you are well and safe.
Hey, sorry I haven't posted anything in years but I've been busy with my new business but I am doing really well, life is wonderful!! I am working on a video of a trip I did with girlfriend Taisa and Ollie our dog
I live in BC and she lived in Arizona, the long distance relationship wasn't working anymore, but it all worked out for the better I met a wonderful lady I've been with for over a year and a half and couldn't be happier.
@@HurlgoatHiker I watched some of your more recent videos and realized you were with someone new after I posted this comment. Poppins was one hell of a hiker though!
@@HurlgoatHiker Good for you bud. Ive been following you since your winter backcountry trip in Algonquin Park, You are larger than life and you are gonna make it big
Nice video, I really enjoyed watching it! Good channel indeed. The camping and nature is amazing, and your appearance as well! And by the way, welcome to my channel about survival and bushcraft - Rare Russian! Regards, Yuriy!
Good call I think, lots of people died in Avalanches in BC this year. They said something about early snow creating a week base layer. Bad year.
your photography is just top-notch dude. great video!
Loving those backcountry cooking skills.
Fantastic Video Thx

What a beautiful spot. Nice trip. Thanks for the video. Take care and stay safe, Al
Love the camping videos. I’m not able to do long thru hikes so the camping is more relatable. Would love an updated gear video
I missed having a glass of whiskey and enjoying these kinds of videos.

Hey not far from Vancouver. Hope you did a couple of snowshoes in Squamish or Manning park.
Good call Cornelius. I have had to make similar decisions. 👍🏻

Any one know what happened to hurl goat?
What happened to Hurlgoat? No more adventures?
Literally the longest walk off shot ever. To get water. Props man.

Keep up the good work bro! Havnt seen u in years. Reach out sometime. I try to keep up with the videos
Haven't posted a video in 2 years. Are you well?
Great trip. Thanks for taking me along. Question: The name and story behind Hurlgoat?
Awesome Vid Hurlgoat! I was wondering, do you carry bear spray with you when hiking?

Missing ur videos.
Hey just wondering if you got anything new coming, my boys and I are missing your videos.
Scotland
Hi there, you haven't posted in a long time, just wondering if you have totally stopped as I enjoyed your videos. Hope all is good?
BC is ridiculous , so pretty
Just curious why you did not melt snow for water rather than a long lake crossing?
where did you go?
@hurlgoathiker What brand of tent are you using?
Hilleberg Nallo 2 Tent
Hi how is it going
Did you shoot this with a GoPro? If so which one, if not what did you use?
Yes I shot this with my GoPro Hero 7 Black, not a big fan of the audio but the video quality is great!
@@HurlgoatHiker Yeah it looks amazing! I love your PCT videos btw. They are an in depth look at the trail, but this video looks like higher quality for some reason .
@@gfree8037 I've chosen better export settings for rendering than I used on the PCT videos, I'm still learning with every trip I edit
@@HurlgoatHiker Well, yous seem to be getting better with every trip as well, my friend. Keep at it! Love your stuff!
You doing good? *Update*
Wow this was from back in 2020?
Yup, Family Day 2020

Not sure if you've already answered this many times over but what kept you from making your partnership with Mary Poppins more permanent?
