I still have the 24 volt Ridgid that fit the 18 volt wet/dry vaccuum and the 24 volt battery burned either/or the vacuum burned where the pin is on the left side of the battery. I hope no one makes a FLEX adopter so that if anyone wants the power and run time of the FLEX battery technology they will buy into the the FLEX tool battery platform.
I've been using adapters just about daily on site for over 5 years now and they're awesome. They open the door to buy any tool brand you want. Started with 18v to 20v DeWalt name brand but DeWalts name brand adapter doesn't have the 3rd prong so it didn't work on my XRP nailer. I went with a waitley brand adapter with the 3rd prong for less than half the price of DeWalt and it has been very reliable. Then I got Makita to DeWalt after I had a few DeWalt sawzalls in a row die for no reason so I decided to go back to my trusty Makita for the cost of a $20 adapter rather than gambling on another DeWalt sawzall. Most recent adapter purchase was for my semi new cordless 8 1/2" Bosch miter saw. Cuts like a dream and takes my Milwaukee and DeWalt batteries. Between those, my Ryobi 18g+23g, and my Makita biscuit joiner, it's amazing to just carry DeWalt batteries and run all those tools. A Ryobi adapter with a power stack or 2.0 battery is still smaller than a Ryobi battery so it doesn't add any more weight either. Convenience all around.
Skil used to make a cord for cordless tools that had a battery pack head attached to one end that just plugged into the drill. (1998 or 1999 time frame)
Hello everyone, I use Milwaukee tools. I recently bought the DEWALT bluetooth speaker. The speaker on the back has 5 pins and the Milwaukee and DEWALT converter adapter only has 4 pins.
it will work but make sure you keep the battery charged don't let it drain all the way down it will destroy the battery adapters are good for a tool that is expensive you want but will only use like 10x a year not like a radio that will be played for hours make sure its a big battery so it doesn't die
Just took my Milwaukee in today made all the jobs easier. All my coworkers I was working with inside of the box trucks asked can I use your tool for this stud or hole. My m18s with the h/o 3.0 is lighter and more powerful then all the makita with only there 3.0. I sell tools as a side business so I made some sales today lol
I sold my used brushless Milwaukee stuff about a year ago to upgrade to fuel so I got 4 more years of warranty to go hard with the tools,so I might as well run them at work instead of sitting at home also.
@@toolsandtactics I have been running rv's for the last 5 years and come to a new company with atleast $5k of makita in my small specialty service vehicles branch. It is crazy how behind metal factories are behind in tools.... they use a 11 pound dewalt circ saw to cut out side walls for rolling doors. Metal chips are hot as hell and they make alot of mistakes. 12v Milwaukee cut off tool takes half the time and perfect lines.. my whole crew asked about getting the cut off tool once they seen me do it..
Aren't tools designed and engineered to work with specific batteries and so using an adapter for a different battery potentially causing damage to either the tool or battery or both? Just asking
Yeah I got it the other day When you say 19.2 are you talking about The newer Craftsman ? try that www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B4SHLJM2?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
I need that Flex to M18 adapter 💪💪💪 and yes 24 volts can work on 18 volt tools, Ridgid actually had that exact same thing going on a while ago
I gotta check that out!
