Great video. That is one prep I need to add to all my bags. Good point about the value of all the gear in the bag, most people don't think about that. I feel like $200 is a good amount considering you would be able to pay for a taxi ride, a tow, or a hotel if you got stuck somewhere and still have money to get some food and supplies.
Always carry cash in my emergency bags, also have some stashed with me daily as well that I would only spend in emergency. Keeping them in small denominations and some change is always a good idea.
I always keep at least $100 snuck away in my wallet that I don't touch, strictly for emergencies. I need to put some small denominations and change in my ghb.

I hide my money in my velcro pacthes lol...just slit the back and slide it in
