That’s the best part of the hobby. I never could stand when people cover up components and are afraid if someone takes pictures of the components and shares it. I will provide any value, setting voltage component and even part number of any amp I build and I welcome everyone to copy share and reproduce my work. It’s all part of the fun.

I come over after watching BBI brag in awe of Iowa impressed he was on your work. I've been trucking for basically 40 years and your design and your work is OUTSTANDING!!! I'm very interested but I also figuring I'm inn for sticker shock! wiyh that said it will be because I have no idea on the cost of components or time to build one! So if I can take that unit from my base in my home and also run it in my mobile I have no doubt it will be Wirth the cost.

Now I wonder how you are going to operate that in a mobile? having to come up with that many volts to operate it off of. Unless you step it up using 2.5 farad capacitor and kept stepping them up to the voltage we need for the device. Or 1800 watt DC buck converters another possibility.

I been running this exact setup in my mobile. I have a pure sine wave inverter thats powering my 65v Power supply that simply plugs into the inverter.

@@NeedleBender785 Thank you for the details. I didn't get my boards from Ebay. But I am having difficulty finding the best place (and recommended size) of copper plate to use. I am building a dual MRFX1K80H. I Have a GIANT aluminum heatsink to attach to the copper plates however. The other part I am having difficulty with determining is a power supply. Any recommendations?
In Canada the Legal Limit PEP is 2500W. I am hoping this one runs right close to that.

Copper heatsink is 4”x6” (needs compound between copper and aluminum)
Pill must be soldered to the copper.
Power supply I recommend is 0-70v
3000w from AliExpress. Or 63v antek 1500w supply. (Does less watts because of voltage drop then the AliExpress one) always make sure you are never exceeding 65v I know it’s tempting to go higher on the volts but these things are not forgiving on volts. They can run with very bad SWR but don’t exceed current 40a, 65v and 100celcius on temp and you’ll be ok
