Nunca olvidaré este concierto. Fue el primer gran concierto al que asistí, tenía 17 años y era estudiante universitario. Me le "escapé" a mis padres, ya que si pedía permiso, seguramente no lo tendría. Fue el 7 de Marzo de 1992 en el Estadio Luis Aparicio "El Grande" en Maracaibo. Ese día marcó un antes y después en mi vi manera de apreciar a un cantante. Si antes de ese concierto admiraba a Gloria, mi admiración se multiplicó al máximo: Uno de los mejores placeres musicales es disfrutar de tu cantante favorito en vivo, estar en contacto directo a través de su simpatía, voz y una espectacular orquesta en directo. Sin lugar a dudas, para mí la mejor gira de Gloria Estefan. ¡Larga vida a nuestra diva latina!.
OMG I remember watching this when it aired on the Disney channel. I still have my VHS copy from when I recorded it. Gloria Estefan is one of my all time favorites! Thank you for posting this

Vi este concierto Into The Light en Cali, Colombia 🇨🇴 en el estadio Pascual Guerrero, recuerdo que hubo lleno total. Yo era estudiante Universitario en esa época. Espectacular concierto de Gloria y también recuerdo que Ella lanzó en esta gira a John Secada. Indiscutiblemente este ha sido el mejor world tour de Gloria Estefan, incluyendo sus grandes éxitos con Miami Sound Machine.

Thank you for posting this. I have never known of much less seen the duet with Teddy Mulet. Also, it's great to see Jon Secada tear it up on that stage which is something I had not seen him do since attending that concert when it came to Oakland, CA.

Love it but it’s poor quality
On every foot of the stage there're well rehearsed shows goin' on. Every performer has to weild their instrument AND remember countless choreographic moves for an hour and a half. That's balls to the wall entertainment. This is 2 years after the accident? Looks like Gloria's vertebra healed just fine.

Great upload! Thank you so much. Ive noticed that some of the footage is edited out, the interview footage for example before Jon Secada's performance of Always Something. Do you have a version that shows the entire concert including interview footage?
No. that's how it was broadcast in PR on TeleOnce before it became Univision. 2 songs were also edited out "Dr Beat & A Toda Maquina"
@@JulioGomezNYC “Dr Beat” was included in your upload. I think what was edited out was the MSM Medley that included A Toda Máquina. It’s the same Medley that was performed during the 1988 Homecoming Concert. This medley was added to the Latin American leg of the tour.

garfield4108 his name is Tim Mitchell. He replaced John DeFaria and was with Gloria until around 2000 or 2001 when he became Shakira's musical director.

John was an inspiration to me. A fabulous guitarist and a very smart musician. I went to the trouble of slowing down every solo I heard John play over the years and as an accomplished musician myself I can tell you,there's more to him than meets the ear!
