I like it but my favorite version of this song is the 1968 Super Session recording featuring the brilliant combination of Stephen Stills, Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper underpinned with a fantastic bassline from a relatively unknown Harvey Brooks.
Now we see why when Dylan went electric he chose Mike Bloomfield who he said was the best. His guitar on the original puts Clapton's riff to shame. Mike always knew what to play.
You can first infer if Clapton is playing in an unimpressive manner that Dylan would not be impressed. Then Dylan only looks halfway pleased when it ends.
Dylan may not have been impressed with Eric, but Eric shouldn't have been impressed with Dylan. I'm thinking it would have been so much better if Eric had done the guitar AND the singing. Then we'd be able to understand the words.
Love the smiles on the Eric’s base player. Dylan. The dude is a one of kind genius

What a find!
One of Dylan’s timeless best.
We, of a certain generation, are blessed to have had Bob, Eric, and Van.
WITHOUT QUESTION MY FRIEND!
True!!
Absolute legends. Clapton never tried to steal the show especially when he’s the guest, instead he naturally makes it awesome
The coolest man around you never know if he's smiling I love it ,
Every time I see Eric like this in support I alway think of what JJ Cale said....'thank GOD for Eric Clapton'. 😅
Thanks for uploading and sharing this brilliant. One of the great songs of the whole century few remember.
They are all lovin’ every moment of a classic tune.
Nice one. My fav Dylan song performed at his best.
I love this. Look how young they are.

Love this song and it looks like Bob Dylan's having a great time!
The amount of black Strat in this video is overwhelming

Bob's holding his own with Clapton.

Dylan not playing solo
Dylan clearly not impressed with Clapton and making sure we know it.
Why do you say that?
