I have hope that:
A, Fives will have a fin on his helmet as it’s a more unique discernible design.
B, The new waste caps will make their introduction to Lego Star Wars via him.

Between the Droids vs Clones battle pack and now the Invisible Hand, it finally seems that the Droids may yet have their time in the spotlight.

Personally who I'd love to see is really any combination of these:

-Mother Talzin
-Dexter(If we can't get his Diner at least let us have him)
-A Force Ghost(Any, preferrably Anakin, but I don't mind if they go with Obi Wan or Yoda too)
-Cal Kestis
-Palpatine from Rise of Skywalker(Since we're unlikely to get an actual set with him any time soon)
-Any of the Mortis Gods(The Father, Son, or Daughter)
Legends:
-Mara Jade
-Galen Marek(Starkiller. Either a more updated version or the bad ending version of him)
-Kyle Katarn
A REALLY out there idea:
-Luke Starkiller from the Concept art of Star Wars(He was added to Skywalker Saga in a free update, so we do have an idea what he'd look like.
List is 11/10 until you mention ROS Palpatine. Probably the one mini-fig I hope Lego never makes....
@trapskilla I like the red and black cloak look for him honestly. The movie is bad, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate some aspects of it like the character design.

I love the dark forces story, Kyle katarn was one of my favorites. Unfortunately we will probably never see him because of rogue one and andor. And I love Andor! I'm very torn.

not really letting "us" down, midi scale is ship focused, there is no rule that they have to put figures in those sets, I also do not see them needing to, I think it is better to make a good ship model with said price than having a worse one with a fig.@@Russellbennison4718

Really wasn't interested in the Lego R2 until he mentioned Darth Malak. I loved the Executor minibuild and love that they're expanding the lineup.
The extra mini figs sound like something that they could make in Star Wars mystery packs 😁
It’s great to get that iconic hallway scene, WITH one of my favorite clone wars characters
God do I hope we still get an updated Revan. It’s not seeming likely, but I think if they really execute it well it could be one of the best figures of all time, and unless they make some really strange decision like a straight up objectively inaccurate print (cough cough Fox), there wouldn’t have to be any new moulds and so no real way to mess it up.
What would be even worse is if they made Revan, but used the SWtOR version.
Kinda hope we get more than two rebel fleet troopers in the hallway scene set. They have always been a favorite of mine, and it would be a nice way to get them in-bulk with updated prints. Hopefully if there are just two, they will have dual molded legs to make up for it.

I’d hope they use a similar helmet shape to the arc trooper for fives.
Depends, since fives at first has a helmet similar to the arc trooper then he gets a standard phase 2 helmet with a rangefinder later on
The more likely option is that they do Phase 2 Fives since they haven’t used the arc trooper mold in 10 years while they’re making regular P2 clones out the wazoo

How do we sell a buildable R2-D2 that no one asked for...include Malak!
Also, really hoping they remake Revan. The polybag version has the wrong colors for the body and hands so it would be nice to get an upgrade.
Really excited that they are making a Darth Malak figure, but baffled and irritated that they are putting it in with R2D2. It's almost like they are acknowledging their fans already have the great R2D2 from a couple of years ago and are putting in a spicy figure just to get them to buy a hundred dollar model they don't need. I'm probably going to pick up the mini on the secondary market to save some money, unless the new R2 is just too good to pass up for some reason. I really just hope this is a leaker getting their information mixed up and there is a KOTOR set coming with Malak instead.
Just the other day I was thinking about how cool a UCS Invisible Hand would be to go with the Venator, but I’ll honestly take this! I’m so excited!

Lego is finally coming out of the clouds. Giving us some sets we wanted and imagined for years.
This will be an expensive year for me to fully get back into lego. Love the midiscales that they are releasing, and im going to have to buy that fives and Malak in the 2nd hand market. Love the characters but sets are to expensive when I only want the characters alone.

As for the anniversary markings on the figures, lego could split the difference and create a backpack plate with the logo on it. That why you could remove it at will.

I’m still not going to get a hallway just for Fives unless people are selling him for more than half the set cost. Still looking forward to the Midi-Scale sets and the continuation of this new style.

7:27 the quote the leaker used to leak Malak is a quote that was describing revan but was said by malak and that's where the confusion came from. It was only when the leaker leaked fives and it was a more direct quote from him that people realised it was malak not revan.
The 2012 arc helmet may have had helmet holes BUT it was placed in the CORRECT spot
Let’s be real, Fives and Malak are definitely ONLY going in those sets to help sell them. Lego is smart enough to know there’s people out there who don’t want another R2 or hallway set, but will begrudgingly buy it because of a single figure
More reason why LEGO needs to make a Star Wars CMF series. It’d sell like hotcakes!

Honestly, I'm so glad Midi is returning. I was always bummed as a kid that I missed out on the original Midi ones, and current era lego is more detailed than ever, with more pieces to chose from than ever, so I'm expecting some really creative fun builds.

I have been wanting a Fives minifig for so long... I really hope LEGO does him justice and if they do Phase II, to include a waist cape and not print one. Hopefully this may lead one day to a Domino squad set. I also hope for the Invisible Hand, LEGO prints a 1x1 stud, similar to the R2-D2 stud in the Death Star Trench Run diorama set, with a print resembling Anakin and Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighters.
I think Captain Antilles is also included in the Tantive IV Hallway set.
Midi scales are a big win for me - love the UCS Venator and will pick it up when I spot it for a good price - but it's very hard to find space for such enormous sets, which makes them hard to justify (along with the hefty price) - but the midi scales are a no brainer.
I’ve been playing KOTOR for the first time recently and love the game. Really cool to still see it being represented in Star Wars merchandising

I don't think it would necessarily be a "battlepack", since that's not a set you would buy multiple copies of to expand your army. But I agree, a set with the delta squad would be great.

Midi scale could be such an amazing way to see sets we otherwise would never get like the invisible hand but also the Rogue One maybe or a lucre hulk class ship. There’s so many cool big ships from the clone wars Ild love to see done in Lego.

Ask MandR: What do you think of star wars cockpits slowly turning into beds? I feel like its really lazy how shallow cockpits are getting and its also generally unappealing, notable examples being the recent X-wing, E-wing, And shin's starfighter. I personally prefer when minifigs sit up straight in the cockpit.
The IPV-2C Stealth Corvette is a set I’ve always wanted and never understood it’s nonexistent status.
