First and foremost, we all would like to see more videos about it, for sure. Purely watching it, it feels a re-texture of MotoGP21 and it makes me slightly sad. I don't get the same feelings Ride 4 gives, for example. Watching a SBK race feels completely different from a MotoGP race, I can't explain exactly why, but SBKs look light, agile, aggressive, and all of this seems to be missing here, while Ride 4 does it better. I can see physics tweaks they made to switch from MotoGP to SBK, but they seem light changes.
Yeah I think SBK looks more nimble due to the the softness and lack of aero, there's less to fight against compared to MotoGP. I think the tyres play an important factor in this also. So far it does feel very much like a MotoGP 21 reskin, I theorise it was MotoGP 21's project but built upon by the RIDE Dev team. Hopefully after more playtime, I'll be able to give more of an in-depth opinion
I skipped MotoGP 21 and 22, and so far it seems like I'll skip SBK 22 as well. I may jump onboard with the new Dakar Rally game instead that is released in a couple of weeks. It's got a bit of everything, so I can only hope the physics are at least ok. No pre-order though, just waiting for reviews to hit the floor.
It's very similar to MotoGP 21, so if you didn't want to play that then yeah it's probably the right call. Especially with the major career mode bug that seems to be present at the moment. I didn't actually know there was a Dakar game coming out, I might have a look at that.
HDR is awful as it was in MotoGP 21. Colors look a little bit washed out and daylight looks more like moonlight. Not as bad as MotoGP 21 but bad. They fixed that issue on MotoGP 22 but now the bad lightning is back. Sound is ok but it could be so much better. Bikes behave very good. Breaking is easier than in MotoGP 22 and the leaning is much more responsive. I would give it a 7/10. Fixing the lightning would be 8/10
Spot on with the rear lift issues under braking on MotoGP 22. Are the physics anywhere near the super bikes in ride 4? I feel they reflect the softer handling of a superbike as opposed to the rigid and stiff MotoGP bike. I have my own channel on motorcycle gaming. Is this game worth the fee in your opinion?
No it doesn't seem to feel like ride 4, definitely more like the MotoGP titles. The price point is quite low so that's definitely a point in it's favour, but it really depends on whether the SBK bikes are enough of a draw. The ai aren't balanced very well as they lift on the straights and at the minute Career mode races are completely broken. So if career mode is important then I'd say no but if they fix that then maybe it's worth a go. (Especially if you are on steam where you can try for up to 2 hours and get a refund)
Looks wise, it'll always look the same as they use Unreal Engine but yeah as for physics it's be nice if they overhauled them. It feels very similar to MotoGP 21
they would've been better off using ride 4 as a base instead of MotoGP21 and MotoGP 22. I still miss the ride 4 launch physics

I was struggling with stopping and it seems like bikes turn so slow…I was crashing every turn

If they only could fixed the physics so it was more like gp19/20/ride4. As now I won't buy it even if I want as the physics is unplayable
