Sony has more resolution as everything sounds more natural and clean but the bass is overwhelming the mids which is a shame. None of the 2 sounds good enough imo. If you want good sound there are a lot of better options, these are only for those desperate for ANC

The new Bose Quietcomfort 2023 model also has slightly better ANC and Sounds better than the momentum 4 to me. The only thing the Sennheiser momentum 4 has is more bass but the Bose has better instrument separation. When I bought the Sennheiser momentum 4 they sounded hollow. They had great highs but they were missing something in the mids.
Its funny cause i have the sony xm5 and lisening to this video the bose sound way better than the sony xm5 wich makes literally no sence since my headphones sound the same as both shown in the video
보스 QC45 평이 너무 좋길래 청음샵 가서 부끄러웠지만 하나씩 들어봤는데, 평소에 드라마 OST나 걸그룹 노래, 가끔 클래식 듣는 저에게는 소니 XM5이 압도적으로 좋게 들리더라고요.. 보스는 뭔가 조금 먹먹하게 들렸는데 소니는 해상력이 되게 높게 들렸어요! QC 울트라는 45와 XM5의 중간 정도 되는거 같았고요,, 착용감은 45가 압도적으로 좋았고 요다핏도 45>울트라>XM5였어요... 음질빼고는 완벽한 45라고 생각이 들었어요!!
Bose's EQ is very bright and lively, especially great for electronic, classical, or basically just sonically higher sounding audio. Bose has crisp highs and punchy mids but doesn't sacrifice on the low end. The bass is very good, but it isn't the best on the Bose. Separation and soundstaging is also pretty good, but it isn't the best choice. Very high caliber headphones, they do good in every category, but they aren't the best in either. The Sony's have a more flat and neutral sound to them with more emphasis on the sound stage. The EQ on the Sony's app is where the magic happens because you can tweak that neutral sound and crispen the highs without muddling the low end. If you want good sounding headphones that don't require any fiddling, get the Bose cans. If you love fiddling and getting the EQ set for different types of audio, the Sony's will be perfect for you. Can't go wrong with either 🤷 👌

Both sound poor to me. QC45 is good midrange, but lower treble is overhyped and not flat at all. Nice balance on the upper bass though, but sounds tinny. 7.5/10 XM5s sound really flat on the treble, bass impact is good but overemphasized and the upper midrange is totally muffled. 5.5/10. Do people really like the sound signature of these?
Why does Sony sound like this in this video? In the live test that I did myself, I preferred Sony's sound, especially in metal songs, why does Sony sound so bad in the video?
@@aregina I listened with Zfold 4, according to my test, Bose is better in playing midrange, but not as much as this video showed, and also Sony is stronger than Bose in playing busy music, and the sound is more stable at high volume. @@XxApo70xX should never judge the sound quality of a headphone based on a song, in acoustic and soft songs, Bose works better than Sony, but in busy songs like metal and punk, Sony's performance is far better than Bose, Bose in the song High metal sound is messed up and it can't be good, I think Sony is the overall winner, because with Sony equalizers you can make the sound in acoustics almost as good as Bose, but you can't make Bose play good metal songs even with equalizer

Have both of them and it’s amazing what a big difference good EQ makes for Sony. They are just on another level (maybe I was just pleased by bigger scene, it’s really important for me), even with AAC codec. But without EQ xm5 sounds like shit.
You use the same audio and keep switching the pictures of the headphons lmao! I swear I just saw one with the XM5's being first and the Pro Max 2nd (Same Audio as this video lol)
둘 다 청음해본 결과 보스는 악기들과 보컬 모든게 다 어울러져서 파티같은 느낌인 반면, 소니는 악기따로 보컬 따로같은 느낌과 둥글둥글 먹먹한 음을 표현한다고 느껴졌습니다.
보스는 약간 전체적으로 명량하게 다 잡아주는 느낌이고 소니는 귀가 편한하게 해주는 느낌이네

보스가 ㄹㅇ 착용감 좋고 소니가 음질이나 노캔 더 좋다는데 전문가 아닌이상 차이 잘 모르겟음 가격도 보스가 가성비갑임
들어볼때마다 느끼지만 보스는 모든 소리의 끝에 바람소리 같은 새는 소리가 남고
