I love that Ned was willing to accept Bart as an almost-son, and then also willing to encourage him to give Homer another chance. I know Ned is mainly annoyingly goody-two-shoes, but in these moments he's truly noble.
They turned him into a goody two shoes over the years- initially he was supposed to be a solidly good citizen of Springfield to show how boorish and rude homer was by comparison.

Despite Homer not getting along with Flanders most of the time in The Simpsons, it seems that despite Homer going through his worst moments, Flanders actually cares about him. Flanders even wanted to save the Simpsons family from the angry mob because of Homer's antics and also give Homer another chance to redeem himself as well too.
Originally, doesn’t want to help his dad save Springfield, but 0:58 makes him change his mind, and then Flanders is happy that Bart reunites with his dad. Also, at 1:00, Bart says “The Man Knows Me”. Heartwarming scene in the movie
