I feel the same, it sickens me that people who are just pretty face and nothing else make millions while truly innovative, inspiring artist are given little to no recognition, at the same time, wealth and greed, it destroys art, it becomes the drug of choice for some, who only create for profit. the hardship and pain of living life as an artist is a driving force behind truly great works
Adding brown bird to my musical knowledge was one of the greatest days of my musical life.. So glad I stumbled upon em.. Strangly enough the govt mule pandora channel interduced me to them.
I know exactly what you mean. I heard of them because of a reference to The Walking Dead. And I love this guy his music is amazing. And it killed me a year ago when I found this song and it related to the book I'm writing so perfectly. I was like. This is the opening theme song to my book if it became a show. And then I finally Googled him and found out he died. It broke my heart. I felt the same way when my heroes from Linkin Park.
Lyrics: There’s nothing left of this day There’s nothing left of this town Our time has ceased with such sorrow There’s no one left here to mourn There’s nothing left of this day Outside there cry wolves in the night Dark with their howls all around We’ll just lie here clothed in our sheepskin Trying to pretend there’s no harm It’s a cold twist confined To the courage of a catalytic heart and mind Over God’s cry and goat’s god’s goodbye And I am bloodying the garment Of a ghost inside Making damn sure the body doesn’t die
It's because the end came too soon. Right after they started on the path to gaining mass recognition...I tell everyone I know about this music because it is the life in my soul 🖤
Agreed, but there's more to it than that. Big record labels only publicize bands that fit their particular idea of good music. It's why there are so many copy/paste 'artists' like Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Every mumble rapper, etc.. Therefore underground bands who actually have a unique sound are never signed, sadly.

Most bands dont go forever. The Stones are working on that technology
Her cello riff is eerie as all hell! Amazing!!!
Rest in peace Mr. Lamb you are missed by many.
Lyrics:
There’s nothing left of this day
There’s nothing left of this town
Our time has ceased with such sorrow
There’s no one left here to mourn
There’s nothing left of this day

Dark with their howls all around
We’ll just lie here clothed in our sheepskin
Trying to pretend there’s no harm
It’s a cold twist confined
To the courage of a catalytic heart and mind
Over God’s cry and goat’s god’s goodbye
And I am bloodying the garment
Of a ghost inside
Making damn sure the body doesn’t die

I wonder why an amazing band like this doesn't have very many views, they're too amazing to have only 980 views.

I LOVE BROWN BIRD
Underground music usually is the best because they are trying their hardest for recognition then once they get it the majority stop trying :/

@Thedanichild Thank you!
A catchy song, although you wouldn't think its dark and chaos streets would render that.
Why isn't this album on spotify?
2:30 sounds like spongebob.
Musicians, help! Would someone please tell me if that thin string howl at the very beginning has a name. I would like to find more variations of this.
Its just a fiddle played really slow with reverb on it. The same fiddle you hear later with no reverb.
@@whatabouttheearth Thanks
