I opted for covaxin. I suffered inflammation in the bronchus which started in late 2022 and I got treated with heavy medication last year. I have never recovered fully ever since.
Cold and cough is taking very long time to recover. Now I know why. I took covaxin.
I had taken covaxin. I think it led to a major sugar spike (I wasn't a diabetic), that led to an uncured UTI for more a year without major symptoms after the initial course of antibiotics (I was also on liposomal vit c that could have suppressed symptoms) and I finally ended up with acute pyelonephritis that landed me in hospital for two weeks. Since , I have been termed diabetic and though my sugar is under control, I continue to take anti diabetic tablets as precaution. I also have experienced respiratory allergy problems that are much much more severe than before especially from dust, cat hair etc that makes breathing so difficult so quickly that I have to be on antihistamine immediately. I keep them handy wherever I go.

People on immuno supprents were also given co vaxin.After the vaccine immunity is further low for sometime and people were not advised to contain themselves in their homes.This resulted in delta infection - second wave.My husband suffered after 2 dosage of covaxine and he passed away.

The science between both covishield and covaxin is sound. Both are based on traditional vaccine platforms. Given the speed at which they were released, health issues should not be a surprise. In good conscience, it would be wrong to expect more from these vaccines. What can be questioned however, could be vaccine mandates, as well as the push for mRNA vaccines, which were a whole new technology. We still don’t have all the data on those…

@@feralmindOne merely a comment on the underlying technology of all available the vaccines. The Chinese and French attempts for that matter were also similar to Covaxin: based on whole virus. Covid was horribly mismanaged by almost everyone. Lockdowns were imo unnecessary and brutal

Seriously, please involve a doctor when you talk about important issues or someone with a basic knowledge of study appraisal. Also put the link the actual source of study. The study doesn't have control group or people who didn't take a vaccine. Every drug will have adverse effects! The question is are the adverse effects HIGHER in the vaccine group than the control group? This paper shouldn't be even published without a control group! Also adverse effects could be anything as small as stomach issues to death so don't lump them all togther. And most of the commenters who says they did not take a vaccine and had no issues was largely bcos of others took vaccine and you were protected by the herd immunity. So thank your friends and neighbors!
My dad had a heart attack around 7-8 months after his third covaxin. three blockages he survived the massive heart attack but now has severe dysfunctional left ventricle also called heart failure

I think we were waiting for vaccine desperately...those two vaccine were made in short time and under lot of pressure.....so sometimes feel they. Should be given benefit of doubt......
Benifit of doubt .....We Indians don't have any proper data on anything..... looks like you don't know what a vaccine is and what sort of procedures are in place before they can be allowed to be manufactured for mass inoculation... Many many vaccines which have had far lesser cases of adverse reactions have been pulled out of the market immediately..but this vaccine was allowed to do the damage without any repercurssions ..
