Hello, oh that's nice to see this siluetta, I've been considering it...that Jacques Cartier rose is gorgeous, how many flushes would you say it produces ?
In the video, you can see the rose as it bloomed for the first time this year. If you deadhead the rose, it will bloom again later in the summer. I always try to deadhead my roses quickly because that way, new blooms appear very fast. 😊
@Lakeofprojects Sure, but some roses don't bloom very often, even when deadheading regularly, it really depends on the variety, hence why I asked. I have Geoff Hamilton, it has a great first flush and then...not so much :)
Geoff Hamilton is a great rose. I do not have this rose in my garden yet. But for the second flush, I usually fertilize my roses after the first bloom. I have the feeling that the flush is much better if I do so. 🌹
