I remember hand launching that model and it going straight into the ground, so it is a miracle that it is even in one piece. Brilliant to see it finally take to the air and very informative on the COG. Well done. HD (that's Henry's Dad!)

    have you considered flaperons?

Hi, well no. You see these are elevons. The task was to make the model fly as it was purchased 20 years ago. Elevons can not act as flaperons. I would have to add extra servos to do that. And as this would have been a very cheap n cheerfuller toy 20 years ago, its not worth the expense. Nice idea though. 👍
