It’s 40yr old classic’s like Gremlins that will always bring back that sweet feeling of nostalgia… I started kindergarten the year this movie was released on the big movie screen… And what made the movie theater even better Is that me & all mad friends got to watch & experience the Gremlins… It’s still a all time Christmas movie gem to watch with your friends & families every year…
It's pretty amazing how much these places have changed over the course of nearly 40 years since the first Gremlins was made. like many locations in films the locations in this movie have made absolute cinematic history!
It was cool having the interview with Zack while talking about Gremlins. I like hearing the story about how Zack use the bat to smash the neon sign that the crew didn't want him to break.
I finally saw this movie a week or so ago for the first time, and really liked it. I don't why I kept putting it off, but for some reason I did for years
My girlfriend saw it for the first time this week. I think she had thought it was a horror movie and didnt want to see it. But really, its almost more of a comedy. She liked it
@ 9:00, that chainsaw scene would no way be allowed today. All these years I thought it was done by Special effects, but to learn how it was really done blew me away!
The Warner Bros. Ranch backlot is supposed to be demolished. The pool from Gremlins is right there too (they covered it with a fake YMCA building.) It's also the pool from Christmas Vacation and the Griswold house there too probably next to Billy's house. Check out AdamThe Woo's video on it from May 2022.
8.12 I think the picture in the bar of the plane is in reference to "The Gremlins", a children's book written by British author Roald Dahl, published in 1943. In writing the book, Dahl draws on his own experience as a Royal Air Force (RAF) pilot during the Second World War. Gremlins were mischievous creatures who were part of RAF folklore, slang or when things went wrong with the plane.
So much crazy respect for the practical effects that went into film making in the 80s. Not this MacBook-AVATAR bullcrap now. You want a scene with a chainsaw? Make a trip to Home Depot. Maybe that’s why GREMLINS is so scary - the fear is authentic. Major props to all involved.

I can't believe that Zach is 58 years old now, or that it's been almost 40 years since the first Gremlins film was released!

Guess it's not a coincidence that my favorite 80s movies, Gremlins and Back to the Future, both used the same small town exteriors.
Gremlins best Christmas movie 🍿 ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

The clock tower building was also used in the beginning of the film sneakers

Zach was so gorgeous, still is😍
I spy delorean @ 8:47.
A classic movie. I'm so glad they didn't franchise it with 10 shitty sequels or whatever which would have spoiled it. I liked The New Batch, anyway.
Please, let there be film evidence of a spider monkey in a suit.
"Mogwai" means house demon.
Obviously unpopular opinion but that town is gremlins town and definitely not back to the future town
