I pretty much had this figured out already but this is no doubt a fantastic video for those who haven't. I wish more content was like this as opposed to the fluff a lot of youtubers put out. Awesome job, BBKD.
just started watching ur vids and they are great. Hopefully some more people will watch them and stop fliping the spawns and trying to triple cap, so annoying loosing a match just because a random kept tunning around fliping spawns and deing at thr bottom or the leader bored. Also one think you should talk about, is people that play control and only go for kills and dont cap anyhting. thats y theres clash.
Alex Re Thanks! Yeah people who don't play the objective are frustrating, its been around for a long long time. Control is best played with teammates that you know and can communicate with for an optimal experience
I've heard you talk about spawn points before in general but I didn't know where you are looking came into account! Thanks! Oh and I'm starting to get very good with bumper jumper, just need to get used to melee being on the stick.
ThePortal64 Thanks and glad to hear about the Bumper Jumper! The melee will come with time, I played a lot of CoD over the years so it has become instinctive
hey BBK there's a small glitch in the spawn system for year 1 maps that they never fixed. if you go all the way to the back of the opposing side of the map and keep the general area of the enemy main spawn to the side of your screen then the opposing team will keep spawning there until more of your own team manage to arrive
One time I got a postmortem on a guy and then we both spawned at almost the exact same place except I was slightly behind him and I just ended up lighting him up with a vanguard pulse rifle and got a kill that he probably wasn't too happy about.
Just watched a lot of your videos and I really like em. Im way too old to be new to the fps genre, but unfortunately its the truth, and getting a kdr close to 1 is a victory 4me lol Instead of just dropping out and not bringing my team down with me, youve inspired me to just practice more and become better. with all these helpful tips I now have much better tools to analyse my game, besides just concluding "I generally suck at fps and need to stick to strategy" lol. I manage to follow up on my team (without a headset or team voice), outflank people a lot, get into decent positions a lot, but generally when I start shooting they have time to roll their cigarette, take a little sip of their drink and calmly aim for my head while doing a little dance in between. Fucking humiliating at best XD Im not sure my near-future fireteams will be all that happy with my newfound motivation to grind myself into improvement, but still you reminded me that fun can be had if you switch a negative feeling about bumming out for a perspective of getting better - I will be following you, have fun making these vids man!
Defo will! Destiny is a great game, the community seems cool, and I like the story behind it. Instead of just cramming the whole cake in my mouth, Ill just cut it into pieces for now and focus on that. Just hope I don't send too many teammates too bed overly frustrated lol Ive been wanting to do raids. Should I practice more first, wait for my headset (somewhere this week) or just go and see how it turns out?
+Dwayon Timmers you'll 100% want your headset for communication, talking to teammates in raids are crucial when you are new to the encounters. Its helpful to ask raid party members questions so they can explain the mechanics of each fight
Awesome videos I am learning a lot! Question: in pvp, is it just as effective to use year 1 weapons as year 2 if I don't have the year 2 weapon versions yet? Or do they have less impact/attack?
+Kevin Altis thank you, in normalized PvP it is just as effective to use year 1 as it is year 2. Trials of Osiris & Iron Banner are the only places in PvP currently where light level and attack stats matter. Everything else is normalized damage so the attack stat of the weapon or level of the guardian do not matter
Ehh... I do have a bit of a problem with the control thing. Capping two zones and sitting on them is a legitimate strategy, but so is going for rotating caps or domination. And to be honest, I prefer map wide action as a general rule. It's personal preference, but I specifically don't like people saying that it has to be done a certain way. It galls me the same way people requiring Gjallarhorn for PoE LFG galls me. It's two dimensional thinking.
Sylence777 I getya, and if you communicate with your team that your are flipping the spawns than sure. But constantly triple capping against a skilled enemy team will most often result in a loss. Limiting sightlines is an objective advantage, when you triple cap you have exposed sightlines from your flank and from the front. Play however you want though, its a game after all
Yeah, and I suppose that's the point. I have no problem with you specifically, but I've been in bad situations with teamates (and even kicked from one fireteam) for wanting to go after the last zone. It's become a bit of a peeve. Tactically speaking though, I definitely understand the value in it. Good thoughts as always.
sup +BBKDRAGON will you ever get a PlayStation 4 or do you have one and if you do my user is Dathypegamming and I spelled gaming wrong but the first user is my,user
Henry Suarez Hey Henry! I am planning on getting a PS4 eventually but I am not sure when. I work about 50 hour weeks right now and don't have much spare cash. Down the road I'll get one, probably around when the FF7 Remake launches
Great, thank you!
man this guy makes good vids. ive been "on the way" to mcdonalds for like 30 mins still n my driveway.
Hahaha, thanks man, that comment made my day :)
Haha same. I just watch all his videos over and over again. I probably watch more than I play more destiny

IceLanternTV Thank you IceLantern, I appreciate that!
I love this series. I've gotten sooo much better by implementing things discussed in these videos. Thanks BBK!

no one cares but you
nobody gives a fuck
Skooma Lover I care, don't listen to those meanies
yea i didn't let them bother me. It's just cool to be the first one in stead of like 1,789th person to watch the video. So for me it's awesome.
Skooma Lover I appreciate the support skooma!
