I’m an ICU nurse and it’s really exhausting and mentally draining seeing people hanging by the thread and fighting for their lives.. giving updates to families on their loved ones who are critically ill and hear their emotions of fear and anxiety ... I for one recovered from Covid 19 after exposure from taking care of patients from 2 different hospitals...

Foreal.....my whole family was infected by covid and non of them had to be hospitalized....I had to take care of all of them. Within 2 weeks they were perfectly fine.

J3RK ...so you are suggesting this is a hoax?? My best friend DIED from COVID last Friday! He was 48yrs old, healthy and took not a single medication. He was fit and never smoked. He got sick on 3/16, went into the hospital on 4/1...was put on a vent the same night and died on 4/24. Tell his family and friends this is not really happening.

Yeah I know when my son got diagnosed with Leukemia and over 3 years of chemo I had to emotionally detach to be able to deal. Then afterwards, when it hit me, it was overwhelming. I will never be who I was. I imagine that is going to be a huge issue when this is all said and done. Much love n prayers to everyone. ✌️

Just to clarify in case it sounded otherwise, my son did survive. 🙏. I was just trying to make the point of needing to shut down emotionally to be able to deal with a traumatic situation. When it feels "safe enough" to feel those emotions it can be a bit much. I pray that all those affected by witnessing the suffering n pain have the support they need. ✌️

I was a ventilated patient back in august to September of 2021 .... I almost died.
I wanted so much to go back and thank all the people who saved my life but the hospital was so over run with covid patients.
I can’t tell you how relieving and amazing it was to see my family again when I thought I was going to die.
Thank you so much nurses, doctors, and healthcare workers for everything y’all do everyday ! When I think of a hero, a nurse in heavy scrubs and face masks is what I see ♥️

@andrew furnell not since Covid-19 since quarantine. My wife worked in the trauma unit. Unfortunately since quarantine there hasn't been any trauma patients from car accidents, DUI's, motorcycle accidents and all confirmed Covid-19 patients have been sent home to quarantine themselves. Her 70 years old aunt in New York tested positive for Covid-19 she was sent home with no treatment and has since healed. It's all a hoax. We live in Las Vegas and the hospitals are empty. Everything is empty, the Las Vegas strip is empty. The entire town is in level 5 lockdown. My wife was furloughed March 28th and she still hasn't received any unemployment, government sisolack has since fired his director of unemployment since the government system has completely failed. Thank God I'm an essential worker who's still employed bringing home a paycheck with BCA bonuses otherwise we would be dipping into our savings to get by.

I get anxiety seeing staff walking all over the unit, seating in the nursing station wearing their PPEs., not to mention seeing them not properly wearing and removing them....did you see that anesthesiologist still wearing his gloves while using the phone? I am with infection control team, with a highly contagious infection going on, healthcare workers should all be very extra careful....when everyone wears PPEs like that outside of a patient's room how can you tell who is wearing one that is contaminated or not?
I know it takes time to put and remove one on but you've got to do that to protect yourself and the rest of the team. Even in this pandemic nursing units MUST still maintain what you consider a "CLEAN" area and that includes the nursing unit.
To those who go out protesting and shouting " My right! My right! My right!" I hope they realize that these healthcare staff also have a right, a right to be protected from harm, but are instead risking their lives so we all go back on track sooner than later.
When this starts to die down...healers will need healing. Thank you for your service frontline workers. Praying for all of you.

I never said that people didn't die, and I'm sorry for the people that you lost. But over half of the deaths were in nursing homes and they can label all deaths Covid now, without even testing them per CDC rules. That's why flu and pneumonia deaths have plummeted! I am not a doctor but I do work in a hospital. Where I work has not been impacted much...yet, but all of the hospitals in this area has discharged as many patients as possible to keep people safe and if it does hit hard here there will be rooms available. These hospitals are losing so much money even administration roles are voluntarily taking 30% away of their pay to help the other employees that do not make much more than minimum wage. This pandemic has really brought the human race together in helping and caring for people.

My grandson is a Dr. in WA state. He & his wife, a nurse, go out into homes to try to keep ppl out of hospitals. And some hospitals here are so empty they ask to close.
